Unable to quell fear and anger in some corners about America’s persistently high trade imbalances, the head of the World Trade Organization is
now claiming that the way trade deficits are measured is a flawed process.

This is just absurd. Now the WTO is saying the calculations behind it are flawed and that it's really 'smaller' than originally thought. Oh,so
that's just supposed to make it all better?
And,they want to people to ignore it? How in the world can someone in America possibly ignore this? This is like a father patting his son on the
head, giving him a lollipop and telling him not to worry about those 'nice men from the bank' who are moving all of the furniture out of their house.
It's not just the trade deficit,it's the whole three-ringed international monetary circus people need to be worried about. We're at end-game here
and they tell us not to worry?
The WTO is really grasping at straws on this one to try to keep the whole game of cyclical consumption going,no matter the cost. Globalization
strategies are failing because we,as an entire planet, have failed ourselves by ever allowing such a game to be played in the first place. I think
something is flawed here but it ain't the deficit and the impacts from it,that's for sure.
