Side note...have you ever seen a neighborhood or city where there is no police coverage? Living with bars on doors and windows, staying in when it's dark, and sleeping on the floor to avoid bullets from drive bys is such fun.

The U.S. populous are wageslaves busily keeping a roof over their heads and food on their childrens plates. These are mostly peace-loving people. It is the war whores of Washington DC and whomever pulls their strings that make war a mighty profitable business to be in. The DC war whores are expert at manipulating people with fake patriotism which gives them plenty of young men & women (that might otherwise had no job to go to) enlisting because they think they are actually doing the right thing.
The U.S. populous are the ones responding with donations every time there is a flood, earthquake etcetera around the world. The U.S. populous picks up the tab for millions of illegal immigrants who do not pay a share of the systems they use. The U.S. populous has their pockets picked every payday - and the clowns in D.C. do as they damn well please with the tax monies they steal.
Like most countries, the people of America have good hearts. It's their Evil Overlords that are drunk on power and wealth that do the damage. They rule with an iron fist; they command armies and police precincts.

Well there is no police covereage here, we can leave our doors unlocked here, and windows open all night lol. Same as where I lived in NY, then again everyone knew then, and knows now we have lots of guns... Also we are not retarded gang bangers, and can actually hit what we are aiming at. But mostly it is because 90% of the people aren't scum and don't really start no problems besides the occasional drunken bar fights.

I am thinking that is going to be a real hard sell to the troops, honestly.

Even harder when you consider how well armed much of the US is versus Iraq or Afghanistan.

Personally, I think we all need to take a deep breath, and focus on the good things we are capable of if and when we all work together, but I'm crazy like that I guess.
