I'm a student of history (of sorts), and I've been especially interested (lately) in the history of nuclear non-proliferation during the 1970s
(especially during the Carter Administration), and especially as it relates to Pakistan.
My 50,000-foot view of the Pakistani nuclear program is that:
(*) Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (father of former prime minister Benezir Bhutto) started a nuclear energy program in Pakistan in the mid 1970s; (
