UFO? January 21st 2011

can't tell if these are flares or what. thought i'd see what the UFOlogists here at ATS thinks. Looks pretty interesting to say the least

I saw the exact same thing --wow, coolness. This bright star is in your eastern sky, right? Then when you look at it with binos or zoom in with a camera, a smaller star appears. I've been studying this bright star for a bit and it's strange. It's not Jupiter or Venus either.

Do you know which star this is? .What have you noticed about this star yourself?

I took some video and quite a few photos Thursday morning at around 2am and some more at 330am. The star changes color and shape. Also, the smaller star moves. One minute it's on the left, 5 minutes later it's on the upper right. Oh, also, the bigger star moves as well. It might be a satellite positioning itself --I don't know, but that's what I'm leaning towards right now. It's just way too bright to be Sirus or Venus, and it's gotten MUCH brighter over the past 3 weeks.

I'm glad someone posted a thread about this strange object, and it's even stranger little buddy.

Looks like the lights from conventional aircraft at a distance. At 3:20 you can see the main navigation and wing lights. It doesn't seem to be anything otherworldly or holographic.

i thought that the first time i watched it, you can see what appears to be a tail wing. however, watching it again, it looks like it hovers in one place while rotating a bit. that is the problem i have with night time cell phone footage. it's hard to say what it really could be

Plane coming in for a landing. The big white light is the front light coming strait at the camera. It then banks to it's right, viewer's left and proceeds fairly quickly out of frame. If you pause it at 5:55 you can see the whole plane just about.

I was intrigued at first. I give the cameraman props for filming it for long enough and using a fairly good/steady hand.

Good footage; whether it's just a plain or not we'll never know.

Definitely a plane. One of the main flight paths coming into Tucson comes from the east, passes over the north side of Tucson and lands at Tucson International Airport on the southwest side of town. Not to mention the Davis Monthan AFB flights that are also maybe 3 miles from her location.

Most of Sheilaaliens videos are really ridiculous. I mean, she films cars going down Mount Lemmon highway (north of her) and says they are orbs....even going as far to say no road exists there in one of her videos. The "orbs" she occasionally films higher up on the mountain are from "Windy Point", an overlook where cars can pull up to get a beautiful view of Tucson.

Not sure what meds she's on, but she needs to take stronger ones me thinks.

I beg to differ, if you look at the plane, it has the landing lights, a tail, wings and even dare I say it engines all seen very clearly in the video.

I think it's a very positive ident as a plane, anything else is just wishful thinking.

I mean that with no disrespect, I just thought branding it a UFO too far a leap on this time..

at 5:55 in the video it looks like a plane to me. I think is rather obvious. Running lights are blinking just like a normal plane. nothing special about this video in my honest opinion.

I would be more convinced if it were making rapid maneuvers a plane can't make, but its not.

I would say its not a plane.

The video is just over nine minutes long and the object didn't appear to be moving or taking off or landing as you suggest.

In fact, the reason I say its not a plane is because there have been similar sightings of UFOs with red and blue flashing lights around the globe and this object appears to have red and blue flashing lights. And these UFOs were seen to hover like this object.

I don't know what it is but it's not a plane and not a 'secret' project.

Ball lightning might be generated anywhere around a Tesla ship.

You're more than welcome to come here to Tucson and observe her "ufo"s in person. The flights come in every night, rain or shine....mostly shine. Just look to the east, just north of the Rincon mountains, and watch the incoming aircraft. Visibility is normally extremely good here, and you can follow them coming in while they are still a good 50+ miles out.

I'd set up a camera on my patio and film one coming in, but you'd probably claim it "morphed" into an airliner at that point.
