I thing the biggest lesson to learn from this is the idea of a "social contract" in which the society gives up liberties to the government in exchange for social obedience.

In short, I would hope that the lesson would be not to give up your rights and liberties for anything, that reasoning coming from the inclusion of the anarchist symbol.

Perhaps someone wanted to spread the word.
