The Ascention Is Underway And Will End In 2012, What Is Your Choice?

The problem is my gut-feelings say one thing about the whole ascension process and my logical mind says another.What should I believe? I should explain a bit.
Logically it is impossible to believe portals will open up.I can't make my mind to believe what OP says is true,even a bit.The whole 2012 thing smells like another date which will pass without a bang.A part of my mind asks me every time I read these things,why am I even reading these things? I am not even unhappy or suicidal or bored.
The problem starts with another part of me.There are things I can't explain.It's really a problem that I can't ignore them or forget even if I want to.They are like some weird alarm bells which rings when I am most busy with this world.When I am most involved with work or just having a hell of a good time suddenly within my mind a voice whispers "why are you wasting time?It is short.You are running out of time."what the heck was that?
I saw a dream,before any three days of night talk I knew or heard or read in the ATS.I have never talked about this dream to anybody because even I have hard to time to come in terms with this dream ( I had plenty of weird dreams before,some of them will make fascinating alien stories).I remember the dream clearly as if it is something happened yesterday.I am in the streets.there are people in the streets trying to get back to their home.I was looking for my dad who went to work.The wind is blowing fiercely.It is afternoon yet the sky is pitch dark as if it is midnight.I am standing amidst clouds of dust,darkness and people asking for help.People trying to get back to their near ones.Street lights are on,at least some of them.I can feel the date,as if someone whispered to me that I am seeing the future.I woke up terrorized and had problems to breath.I can feel the dream even when i was awake. .Months later I came to know about the "three-days-of -night" prophecy.What should I make of my dream?
I am seeing strange timings in the clock.I made sure it is not I who is influencing those weird timings.I keep seeing 11;11, 13:13,12:12 and so on.Throughout the day,most of the time.First it spooky as hell but now I just wonder what does it mean? Should I get my head checked? maybe.
I can mention plenty of things happening through out my life which does not make sense.The question is should I treat those things as "fiction,imagination or deception of grand kind" as some posters suggested or should I seek answers.I can't seem to stop seeking the explanations yet the explanations which I get can't be digested by my logical mind and twenty years of conventional education.
I saw the night of the beginning of things OP talking about in my dream yet I can't believe that.After all it's a dream and who in his right mind believe in it?
The bigger question in my mind, after reading this thread,what should I do now?What should I believe now?

There are no more "turmoils" on Earth now on average than at any time previously. In fact, life on average is probably better in terms of comfort and survivability than it has ever been. We have bigger populations, of course, and modern civilization faces its own share of unique challenges as it always does, but I'm not clear on why you think this is unusual.

The wildlife deaths recently hyped to the point of public hysteria by the media are nothing out of the ordinary. North America alone sees hundreds of such die-offs every year. You can find the USGS log of mortality events on their website.

the magnetosphere disruptions,

Technically, the magnetosphere is "disrupted" every time a solar flare or CME hits it, which is routine. It fluctuates constantly due to the solar wind.

Some of you may also be aware of the quickening that is occurring. The feeling of pace, the feeling that time is running out yet you have so much still to do.

Obviously, I don't share your feeling.

The ascention is underway, it will climax in 2012 and then it will be over. The ascention is an experience that you choose to be part of, whether you actually ascend or not is a subconscious act on the part of your true self, your soul. You as a physical being with a physical sense of reality does not know if you are ready to ascend unless you are in touch wholly with your higher being. Each and every soul on this planet has a purpose to fulfil so they may one day experience the ascention fom one dimension to the next. This ascention process that is underway also has a 'de-scention' that is not to be viewed as a punishment but rather as another experience that your soul may require. You may be ready for ascention but choose to de-scend to experience that de-scended reality. The choices are infinite. There are those who will choose to remain in spirit until they see fit a time to become a physicality again. This is the choice we all have.

Color me skeptical, but I doubt you can even begin to provide a positive ontology for most of those terms.

The magnetic field is not destabilized, nor do we have any evidence that fluctuations therein are troublesome for life. The field strength isn't even the same everywhere on the planet's surface, and your overall exposure to electromagnetism changes based on what is around you. Power lines, televisions, radios and, yes, even your computer --- these things all emit an electromagnetic field, and the measured Gauss you experience at various times might differ greatly. Do you experience some significant effect when you come in from outside and sit down in front of your computer? Probably not. Animals and other wildlife experience these variations as well, yet they don't spontaneously drop dead when they get near power lines.

So surely you have a peer-reviewed source that supports this idea....

You should know that this alignment occurs every year and was closer in 1998 than it will be in 2012. You can verify this with any planetarium software. Such an alignment, even if it could be perfect, would have no noticeable effect on our planet. See the inverse-square law.

Given that the foundation on which you've built this dubious, ill-defined notion of "[ascension]" is fraught with errors, falsehoods, baseless claims and misunderstandings, why exactly should anyone take you seriously?

Now im my situation...

I have no dreams, OBE's or anything like that but when I read about ascension, what I need to do...I feel a deep happiness that I hardly ever feel before...it feels different, so different.

From listening/reading about George Kavassilas, everyone can ascend regardless of their vibration. however that can help.

Through Love and spiritual awareness my friend, I believe the 3rd density which we are in, is associated with the heart chakra and universal love, once we have learned these lessons, then one is ready to ascend to the next density. if not then one must repeat this density until they become aware,

I believe it is also possible to ascend without consciously seeking it, so don't worry to much about doing the right thing, let life be your guide

In my experience you couldn't be more wrong.

I (hesitantly) admit to believing in this and have experienced some of the things mentioned in this tread through meditation and belief. I truly believe (some of this, not sure of the exact details though...) this is the case and it will happen but if it doesn't I am also prepared for that..what I get from this is love. Now I am going to explain a little about my personal life to counter your rather depressed vision of the kinds of people who believe in this, but not to boast or belittle you or anyone else, rather to simply suggest that you are wrong (i am rather hesitant about posting such personal info for a whole bunch of reasons but feel it will help get my point across). I am in my mid 30's, I have 3 kids, I am a company director and live in a 5 bed house next to a creek in a beautiful part of the world, I was happy before and I am happier now, i had enough money before this but am richer now, I was spiritual before I found this but didn't know why or for what purpose.

you see this is a choice, and if choosing to be a better person is a bad choice then i'll continue to make this bad choice, and if in 2012 nothing happens I will still continue to operate as I do now because it makes life so much better for me and more importantly for those around me.

No i havent based this theroy on religion. I am using Jesus as an example of when he was in-tombed after his death on the cross. The stone was rolled over his cave, yet later he emerged without the stone being moved. This was because he had the ability to change between the pysical and spiritual at will because of his frequency. Jesus was a being of a higher frequency than other people but i personally do not believe he was the only son of 'god'. We are all children of source, Jesus was simply more enlightened and at a far higher vibration that most ofther humans.

I am not religious as i mentioned earlier. I am spiritual in my own way with my own belief system that aids my own development. I do not need others to tell me my beliefs, i only need to listen to myself and look inside to find the answers.

I do not know what will happen, I don't know what happens when you die, I don't think I know but I assume I will be alive once again, considering there was a time before I was alive and there will be time after I'm dead.

So why do you think you know what happens when you die? You're not anymore special than anybody else, except in your mind you think you have everything figured out, is it an ego thing? Is it a need for attention? I'm not trying to be rude I just want to know what the 'need for claiming to know what is going on and what will happen when you die' is.

Maybe you could explain it to me and the ATS crowd because I'm sure someone else is wondering the same thing I am.

You know Jesus is the symbol of Christianity, and not a real person nor was his stories wrote about when he was alive if he was, so you're using Christian beliefs to make your point, yet you say you are not religious? Well which are you then? A little bit of every religion bundled in 1?

Thats what every single religion will say, its for the betterment of humanity, when in reality you're doing more harm than good. The sooner the world gets away from these unrealistic views and obvious bait to lure people into said religion, the sooner we can get to world peace.

Besides, resources and religion were always causes for the major wars, Islam vs Christianity for example.

I appreciate your thoughts and questions. Clearly my thoughts on the matter, and thats what they are frustrating for others...they are not definate answers they are not 'super human' skills that i claim to have, they are thoughts and feelings that i have developed over a number of years that feel right to me...they also feel right to other people. I see everything as being linked together and since everything is present on this planet, i believe everything will be affected when the Earth is affected.

I think i know what happens when i die because of my belief, your concept may be different and thats great but it doesnt make either of us wrong.

I will apologise if i have come across as a type of person who is making out that i am better, more enlightened or super human compared to others because i am not. I have a strong belief and opinion that i felt i needed to share with others.

I have read many things, absorbed many stories and tales relating to religion, i believe many religions have correct and incorrect parts, but the greater message is still the same between them. I dont follow any one religion, i have developed my own belief and follow my own belief because of information i have read and understood over years of looking at it all.

I guess you could say its a belief created from many other beliefs, but its the belief that i feel most 'at home' with!
