This is far too coincidental to have been just a "coincidence" Huh? Why these two incidents were not linked by the MSM I do not know but it seems very suspicious. They supposedly caught one of the guys in the second explosion.

Police and fire officials are investigating an explosion in the trunk of a vehicle in Arlington, Va., Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred on the 2100 block of S. 9th Street. The trunk of the white BMW with Virginia plates was destroyed, and the force of the explosion sent pieces of metal onto an adjacent road.

A witness on the scene said there was a loud boom and he felt his building shake.
Police said two men were seen running from the car. One person were escorted from the scene in handcuffs, but investigators said at this point he is a person of interest and was being questioned. Two other people, including the owner of the car, also were being questioned.

No injuries were reported.

Bomb-sniffing dogs and robots were brought in to search the area.
Rich Marianos, assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told the Associated Press that the initial investigation suggests the incident was neither criminal nor terroristic in nature. ATF has implemented a rapid response team to investigate such incidents.
