if you have a 200+ herd die in a day or 2 that sounds more like a mass poisoning than an epidemic. cows are pretty sturdy animals. if they were sick you would have seen symptons or days if not weeks before they all died. remember when pet food was poisoned by china for several months my town thought people were killing animals with antifreeze doctored food well guess what wheat germ used in most brands were laced with a chemical used in antifreeze by greedy chinese so owners were unwittingly poisoning own animals . my guess here was poisoned feed
