In Genesis 4:26 it reads when Seth's son Enosh grew up that it was during his lifetime people first began to worship "the lord"...Now my question:

Why weren't the people before this worshipping "the lord"? What change took place to cause this? Did god suddenly become worthy of worship...He didn't demand worship by the others before this...Why not?
