Yesterday afternoon I heard this low sound, and since I was sitting in bed I felt it tilt a bit back and forward for a couple of seconds. I thought it was probably nothing and that maybe I had been reading the ATS forums a bit much :-). I could have simply imagined it.

But this evening the same thing occured and now the windows shivered slightly, so there was a noice from that. I have experienced a real earthquake in LA (94) and South America last year (but that time from afar). So I know the feeling, and this was a lot like it...

Is there any ATS:ers living in Sweden who has experienced anything like it lately? Or anyone who has a theory? It is very uncommon with earthquakes in Sweden and the ones we have are very mild.

Well, I did ask my neighbour, but he had been out buying food so he hadn't felt anything. I think you have to sit still to feel it. That is how I remember the aftershocks in LA. If you were lying on the beach, your body pressed to earth, you could feel them very easily, but a person who was moving didn't feel anyting. (What a great metaphore huah?)

I feel a bit apprehensive about asking my friends, because the ones who don't think about things the ATS covers would be scared and the others, well I don't want to bother them with small things. We will probably have more urgent things to discuss later on.

Thanks for answering!

I don't know if this will interest you or not, but this other thread is one I have followed for the last few weeks that has a few posts that included sounds that may be similar to what you experienced with the tremor. This thread is based on activity in the pacific northwest US. You will have to scroll down all the way the last post with the link. Also in the preceeding pages on this link there are other sound audios. I have heard these sounds where I live in Tennessee, and would be interested in knowing if you heard the same thing in Sweden.

lol, when I first saw the title, I thought it said "weird snakes in sweden".

Anyway, it could be local construction, especially a local demolition. It could possibly be local mining or perhaps the digging of a new subway. Just thought I'd throw out a few ideas.
