There is no conspiracy theory huh?

Who knows more about health - the mainstream media or those that believe in "conspiracy theories"? Well, the truth is that time after time after time those in the "alternative media" and those who believe in "conspiracy theories" have been proven to be far ahead of those in the mainstream media when it comes to matters of health. Sadly, the mainstream media receives so much funding and so many advertising dollars from the pharmaceutical industry, the medical industry, the big chemical companies and the health insurance industry that they are extremely cautious to report any information that would be harmful to any of them. So for years, the mainstream media generally refused to talk about the dangers posed by things such as fluoride, aspartame, prescription drugs, genetically modified crops and cell phones. But now the alternative media has been making so much noise about many of these health issues for so long that the mainstream media has been forced to acknowledge that some of these "conspiracy theories" about health are actually true.

Not that the mainstream media is all of a sudden turning their backs on the financial giants that are pumping billions of dollars into them. But the truth is that we are starting to see just a little bit more honest reporting about health issues from the mainstream media these days.

The following are 8 conspiracy theories about health that the mainstream media has been forced to admit are actually true....

Im going to go through all eight and give my take on them.
#1 Fluoride was just outed as a potential health hazard so this may change too.
#2 GMC's are trying to spread but luckily the UK,Canada and many other companies who are not benefiting from Monsanto's money are putting up a fight!
#3 Sadly there are so many pollutants in our water and most likely even more chemicals in supposed "filtered and bottled water"
#4 Cell phones even if they are linked to stuff no one would give them up. I personally think the small amount of anything in or from them is greatly less than the good they can do.
#5 BPA, well if its linked to male infertility they should watch the movie Children of Men to see what happens when birth rates stop.
#6 On pills, im 22 have high blood pressure and my dr said i needed paxil (WHICH IS AN ANTI-DEPRESSANT!!!) im not depressed i just have HBP so F*** meds.

#7 Dont eat anything labeled diet.
#8 The world is grossly over populated and it seems that the poorer the people are the more kids they have. I do believe we need to do something to control population as in with all foreign aid send birth control!

I remember reading about a study whilst preparing to write a scientific journal that mobile phones could possibly be linked to a decreased risk of the person developing Alzheimer's. It appears that the radio waves emitted from the phone 'shook apart' the beta amyloid plaques that are behind Alzheimer's progression

Are we really overpopulated? People say this all the time, but never seem to examine it. It has become one of those myths that is repeated enough times to become assumed true. This earth could easily sustain current populations, and possible many more people. Political and economic systems where a few profit from the production of the many are the culprits. If neo-liberal globalization, and hierarchical geopolitical systems did not limit the availability of resources there would be enough for all.

From a mass capacity to support humans (and only humans), no we are not over-populated. If you look at humans from the point of view of us being apex predators, then yes, we are. There simply should not be this many of a single apex predator. (personal opinion only)

I agree and disagree with my own comment on over population. I think my statement of over population is more on who is having 4,5,6 kids and its by far not the rich. Its to easy for low income families especially immigrants to just keep having kids and getting more and more free money, and in that way its puts major strain on systems that werent meant to be used in that way.
