Japan Just had 3 6.0 or greater at 1 time

earthquake.usgs.gov

Japan has just been hit by 3...4 as i typer 6.0 earthquakes all most at the same time. There has been no tsunami warning posted as of yet.

But i'm sure they will just say that this happens all the time and not to worry but to have four big quakes in that amount of time is just amazing.

Watch out midwesterners and midsoutherners.

ZetaTalk Prediction 10/16/2010: The sequence of events is, thus:
* a tipping Indo-Australia Plate with Indonesia sinking,
* a folding Pacific allowing S America to roll,
* a tearing of the south Atlantic Rift allowing Africa to roll and the floor of the Mediterranean to drop,
* great quakes in Japan followed by the New Madrid adjustment,
* which is followed almost instantly by the tearing of the north Atlantic Rift with consequent European tsunami.

That being said, three mag 6+ earthquakes just hit japan

MAP 6.5 2011/01/12 21:32:55 26.944 140.006 520.4 BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION
MAP 6.6 2011/01/12 21:32:55 27.400 141.000 523.0 BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION
MAP 6.6 2011/01/12 21:32:00 27.400 141.000 523.0 BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION

Let's see where this goes 4 6.0 quakes within minutes is pretty wild!!!

Where there is an earthquake (of that magnitude, and especially more than one), there is a tsunami. Whether it hits land or not is a different story but there is always that chance. With everything that has been happening lately, even in the past few weeks, i think that someone would have to be completely ignorant not to realize what is going on and open their eyes to it. The government on the other hand, which really ticks me off, assumes everyone are idiots and they can fabricate any BS excuse they can come up with to convince us otherwise. Changes are happening right now before our eyes and we all need to try our very best to be prepared for it.

2011 isn't starting out so well for the world.

How does the depth of the epicenter determine the surface destruction?

So this happened about 2 hours ago. I'll be looking for something. This doesn't sound good.

Patience grasshopper....

They will be revised - I reckon just two events - not four judging on the times/depths etc.

Down to three events already

Too deep for a tsunami

Active region.

Right... just waiting for the usual crew to chime in and say that this is all normal and has nothing to do with any of the other events going on in the world, like flooding, mass animal die offs, blizzards, volcanic activity increase....

But it's all just normal... we've all seen this before, right?

Interesting. This video, posted 11 Jan 2011, on youtube, predicts a big earthquake somewhere in the world within the next two days. He also links the mass die-offs with the magnetometer info.
www.youtube.com...

The link to the HAARP Induction Magnetometer information referred to in the video is: 137.229.36.30...

Downgrading earthquakes seems really faulty to me.

If it was legitimate that inaccuracies happened (which they do), it only follows that SOMETIMES earthquakes should be UPGRADED also.

But they aren't. I have never seen an earthquake upgraded in scale.

It's always downgraded.

So I don't trust downgrades. I'll go with what numbers were put out first, thanks.

Any minute now they will pop up...But what i'm wondering is was the depth deep enough to not cause tsunami's

Also I thought it was really cool when I read the quake readout.
6

The devil's earthquake!
It just sounds awesome.

It's all normal... that area is volatile - have you checked the historical seismicity maps?

In fact, it would abnormal NOT to have a big one there regularly....

A 6 isn't really that big in Japan terms.

An 8 or 9 would be the 'big one'.

Japan's high tech architecture should be able to handle it all the way up to 9, then all bets are off.

i think its pretty abnormal too have 3 at the same time!!!, why is there always someone too say i would think it would be abnormal if it didnt happen? no matter the subject floods , birds lol wtf

There go you go - down to two, as I predicted.

You need to watch quakes regularly to know what to look for folks - and do your background research... anyone who watches quakes would NOT be surprised at a) the mag and location of the Bonin Quakes and b) would have questioned 4 - in a row 6's - as I did on the quake watch thread - had to be an instrument error - and it was.

Nothing to see - move on...

As I said - PATIENCE - it isn't three or four - it's two!!!

You'll see from Quake Watch thread that yes, 4 would be unusual but those of us who have4 watched quakes for years know to WAIT - particularly with such close together / similar events - as most are reviewed by a seismologist and revised...
