Not trusting other country news sources?

I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I have to know something. I know when a report comes in on politics or terrorism from a news source from another country or from one here in the States that isn't from one of the major news networks, people on here seem to discredit it or not believe it. It seems to me that if it only comes from CNN, NBC, ABC or Fox News then it's the truth. I'm a correct in making this statement? My question is "Why?" Why should we not trust other countries news sources? Many are not our enemy. They just don't like our government and I don't either. So is there a reason why you believe other news sources out there? Thanks.

Every country puts their own spin on the news so you can't trust any of them to be true 100% of the time. The only thing that you can really do is look for the most commonly reported 'facts' of each artical.
