yeah.. i heard about ATS a few days ago.. when glp was criticising it for having LOUGHNER as member...

im fed up with alot of the stuff that goes on THERE so i figured that if they dont like ATS.. i should try it out.

Welcome to ATS! My short and sweet opinion is that most people who bash any given website are probably just bitter former members who can't get past the fact that they were banned from said site. It's all a bit pedantic and unnecessary for my tastes! So, why waste time worrying about the meanderings of bitter folk!

ATS has provided me with years worth of information and entertainment and I love it here! We have one Hell of a great community, filled with many diverse, interesting, and wonderful people. And even if they won't let me in the cool kids club, I still like most of them!

A moderator or admin will pop in here, at some point, to post links to a lot of good information for you to read, and I always suggest taking the time to do so... it helps a LOT with understanding the why and how of ATS!

If you ever have any questions, feel free to U2U me (internal messaging system) and I will do my best to guide you to whatever resource or information you might need.

I look forward to seeing you in the threads.

A change is as good as a holiday. I have not heard of glp before, but is sounds like you are tired of running around in circles and just want to get on with it. Heaps of great stories and debates going on all over the place and ATS has been good to me. We ain't out of the woods yet so keep your head up and good luck.

I know GLP very well, and I can assure you that you will have a much better, much more informative experience here.
