So why would a 9 day old icon be there when there have been more recent ones in other countries?
Surely you think the 9 day old icon would have been the first purged to make room for the next.

I hate when people say that animals die in large amounts every year. That maybe true but never have the animals died to unexplained reasons and become so big shortly after the new years start. I think something big is happening and idk about everyone else here but I am going to try and figure this out. If I die along the way...hey I died but at least I died trying to exploit the truth to the American People.

The birds were apparently startled by fireworks and since they have poor night vision they collided with houses, power lines and each other. If this is so why are we not cleaning up thousands of birds every July 5th?

Because birds roosting habit are different in the summer then in the winter. In the Spring/Summer red winged black birds are spread out across wetlands as males stake out territories trying to impress the ladies. This is not the case in the winter. Different birds have different habits at different times of the year, just like Humans. Why are there fewer drowning deaths in the winter? because people don't go swimming in the winter!

Oh and for the record, I'm reasonable sure some birds are killed during fireworks displays, just not enough to spark our empathy.

i think that after the gulf incident that the winds are changing because of all of the methane released.
maybe that has something to do with the birds? they fly high and methane is lighter than air maybe they hit a patch of that?(like the Bermudan triangle ships sinking)

I just don't understand how the government thinks they can play this one off as some fireworks. All these explanations are complete bs, and they've run out of answers to this worldwide phenomena. I am still a little surprised though that they haven't done anything to the google map of the mass die-offs, i feel that would be the first thing they would cut off, to prevent people from seeing the frequent occurrences of these deaths.

Again, picking a random year...this time it's 2007. As the internet logs more and more data each year, these reports can increase each year. I'm sure if I continue searching January 2007, I would likely find a lengthy list oft of animal group deaths. Many of the most recent unexplained 2011 deaths are still under investigation...that's why there is still a "mystery". Though, I'd warrant that some people on ATS will not accept any natural explanation citing it as a cover-up. If you really want to know the hows and whys birds die en masse, I'd recommend studying up on ornithology. Speculation is merely that...speculation. I'm not saying it's impossible that 3000 birds hit a UFO or flew through a secret government HAARP emission or "chemtrail", but the likeliest of answers is that it is attributed to natural causes (or pollutants/environmental, etc). But, truth be told, these "mass" deaths occur a LOT. Just search for yourselves. Talk to an ornithologist and you may be rewarded with even more enlightenment on these types of things. Just sayin'.

I have posted this reply to other bird and fish killoff threads. Here is my opinion on this. Government testing its effects for thr real deal. They test to realize what level is needed, and what the affects are. They dont want to overdo their depopulation they dont want to totally destroy earth, testing is required before the final plan is put into place and inacted.

Well, I can't necessarily agree with you and neither do I think you should be making assumptions about the intent behind that gentleman's reply. I didn't sense sarcasm, and this is, after all, a conspiracy site.

Moreso, however, I think that the original poster's point wasn't the existence of the mass die-off, but rather his evidence that it's being sanitized, hence the clean-up of the original map he'd found showing global die-off events. If this was something common, why sanitize the map? Secondly, the official explanation does not seem to be jiving with empirical data (ie. we shoot fireworks off regularly without these results, no witness testimony of birds striking houses, etc.).

Lastly, I respect the fact the poster isn't try to draw any conclusions or offer what he feels might be a cogent explanation, but is simply asking the question; why?

I would agree. The title is a bit over the top. No "proof" has been given by the OP that any nefarious act has been committed, only speculation that the aforementioned website referred to has been "sanitized". I admit, the title drew me in as I was curious of the "proof of conspiracy", but was rewarded with nothing but conjecture and the OP's personal opinions.

I guess I should be more wary of posts that claim absolutes, a bunch of exclamation points, and lines that read "Please keep this post alive and flag the hell out of it". Flag hungry much?

Use the search feature. They are still there listed under biohazard.

No...not an explanation.

We have fireworks here in the UK every November 5th, and New Years eve...if fireworks happened to kill thousands of birds twice a year, we'd be very used to sweeping them off our pathways and driveways...we don't..in fact, i haven't seen a dead wild bird for years.

Fireworks did not cause the phenomena that we're seeing here, regardless of the season.

All I can say is I agree with you. It's a cover up. People have been doing fireworks for decades and we have never seen anything like this. Furthermore, we are seeing dead fish in certain areas as well. Mainstream media cannot be trusted nor can our own government. Something significant happened. I believe something was "tested". A weapon, weather manipulation device or, and this is a big "or", something to do with ET's/UFOs.

In the not to long ago old days though, news reporters would have "procured a sample and independently had it tested and they would have tried like heck to tell the whole and true story! Now it was a bottom line on our news cast quick and silent and gone the next day for good.
