I've been lurking on this site for a couple years now, and though I am not necessarily a "conspiracy theorist" in the usual sense, I thoroughly
enjoy much of the content this site has to offer. I find it is mind-opening to look at things from outside the mainstream perspective, and honestly
the more I read the more I find that the accepted dogma (as it concerns science, world events, and otherwise) has significant holes. I'm currently a
student at a prominent California university, and I joined this site to share an odd experience with people who may be able to relate, so to speak.
A few years ago, I worked for a major retailer, and was on-call in the early morning. One night I awoke to the sound of my usual cell phone ringtone,
and in the dim light I stood up to the side of my bed and picked the phone up off the nightstand. I remember distinctly assuming this was my job
calling me in to work in the morning, but when I flipped open the phone to check the number, there was no number at all, only 12 (I think it was 12)
apparently random letters, numbers, and symbols-- something like ?^8B*k$df#23. As soon as I put the phone to my ear, I remember feeling an
extraordinary pain that totally consumed my head-- it was as if the phone shocked my head. I don't really have anything else to compare it to, other
than to say the pain was similar to being smacked in the head with a heavy object, but with no real feeling of a point of impact. After that, I
remember keeling over in the general direction of the bed, watching the floor rush up at me, but becoming completely unconscious before hitting
anything.
The next morning I awoke in my bed, feeling basically normal, if not perhaps a bit more tired than usual and somewhat ill at ease because of the
"experience." I checked the recent calls on my phone (which, if I recall correctly, was on my nightstand,) but I don't think there was a record of
the call. Weirdly enough, I remember the "experience" vividly but I only foggily remember how I followed up on it that morning. I'd write the
whole thing off as a dream, but NOTHING, during the experience, was out of place in my room-- down to the magazines on the floor, the pattern on my
comforter, ANYTHING that I can recall. If it was a dream, I have NEVER had one that close to reality before or since.
So I've been wondering, why would a phone display a random code as the phone number in the first place? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I've googled this sort of experience, and I really can't find anything all that similar other than "manchurian candidate" type operations, but I
seriously doubt the CIA uses high school students, and I didn't have an experience of missing time other than the few hours I was apparently
asleep.
I figured I'd hand this one off to the specialists...
