I completely agree, people kill guns do not. The gun is just a tool, like a knife, or sword, of baseball bat, or crowbar ... you get the idea. BUT, politicians spin things and use them for their own purposes.

Just to bring up "Pro Gun" and "Tea Party" in connection with this incident will give the Obama administration a foot in the door to pushing more horrific gun control and socialistic policy. Too many people are "sheep" and just jump on band wagons so they have a cause to be a champion for despite the fact that what they're "for" is completely anti-american and damaging to our country.
I think they may want to do that, and the usual suspects will probably screech loudly about gun control in the next day or two, but I don't think the Democratic party as a whole will choose to take that road. Perhaps before the GOP's gains in November, but not now. It is perhaps the GOP's strongest domestic issue and in this political climate, I don't think the Dems will do anything but talk.
The GOP? Again, it may be their strongest issue. They aren't going to give it away unless they want to be a minority party for the next couple of decades.

Why do you think it is that all these "lone gunman" choose guns as their weapon of choice? Personally, if I wanted to go on a rampage and kill as many people as possible, a gun wouldn't be my choice of weapon. I would use my suburban, the thing is like a tank, I would pick a popular place like the mall and mow people over until the thing wouldn't drive anymore. That would be a long long time, I could crash the glass front of a mall and mow many many people over, then crash the back door, and move on to another place. If I was in an urban area, just ride the sidewalks randomly.

I really do not get the big deal with these videos. He is not well educated but is thinking for himself and I do not think he is getting enough

My point being, where in the hell do we get shooting 19 people from these videos, the poor work of an amateur artist and might have been good economist? I am disappointed that my hometown had to show up on the national scene because of this. This almost reminds me of the Columbine incident. I am just amazed that a bullet went through the brain and she is still able to respond to commands from the doctors. Abraham Lincoln survived several hours after being shot point blank to the head and that was back in the 1800's. Kennedy was not as fortunate as the CIA made sure he was eliminated. Godspeed in Rep. Gifford's recovery.

No I don't understand all of it but he does make some good points. It is also based on your perceptions really. I know he was confused and he was lost in his own thoughts at times.As a psychology major I can honestly say this guy is not insane just disillusioned, confused and too smart for his own good.

A logical thought stepping that you put the person through. Something so simple, that your mind can not argue with it. Repeat it, and it imbeds it’s self in permanent memory.
When ever a person contemplates how much trust he should put in the currency of his government from there on out, he will remember that phrase. It will permanently undercut his trust in the currency of his government.

Third, look at the only video listed under the shooter's favorite videos.... It's a clip of the American flag being burned. Judging by what little information we can gather from the shooter's account, I'd say it's far more likely that he was anarchist nutjob.

Politically there is just not that much happening to trigger an incident like this.
If there was going to be a nut-job shooting I would have expected it during or just after the Obamacare vote not now. Also why a 22 yr old. Again if there was going to be a shooting I would expect an older farmer ticked off about the Food Safety bill that was passed so underhandedly not some kid.
Also why a multiple shooting including a child?
You are correct this stinks of a set up to get anti-gun, internet ID, censorship enacted. The multiple shooting of course was to get the maximum amount of outrage. I was expecting such a set up but not quite this soon.
