The amount of middle fingers this idea deserves would fill every server ATS has.

Unconstitutional, and nothing more than another idea to control people.

this government is coming dangerously close to crossing a certain line that cannot be undone.

One of their better posts I have seen in a while. You understand the corruption endemic in that system.

Took this long? I personally like the idea. I have difficulty in doing business in government agencies. I do as much as possible online. Internet ID comes in very handy for some people.

The sad part is that it was never rocket science to know who would be pro-tyranny and who would not be
that's the saddest part

It was always the media not the people who decided who front runners were and people chose within that group

Yes and guess WHO the Media is???

U.S. Congressional Record February 9, 1917: J.P. Morgan interests bought 25 of America's leading newspapers, and inserted their own editors, in order to control the media. www.mindfully.org...

JP Morgan: Our next big media player? (April 13, 2010) JP Morgan controls 54 U.S. daily newspapers, and owns 31 television stations. www.newsandtech.com...

You do realize they will tie this ID to pretty much everything they can to create a "one login/access all" type of thing right??? Well do you understand how easy it will be to fetch your ID and have access to anything you have your ID ties too???

This is a huge security threat... If I go to a community center of the library and use their internet and just check my email all I have to worry about is my email that "might" be compromised... Now anyone with the proper knowledge will be able to just gotto libraries/community center/school computers and with every ID they will be able to get its going to be a literal jackpot... I don't mean to be fear mongering but this thing IS scary... remember you are responsible to anything that happen with your ID unless you can prove the opposite...

I applied recently to a Forensic Analyst job and as a mean to facilitate my entry to the position I wrote a program that can be loaded onto a USB stick. All you need to do is to plug it for about 20-30 seconds to a computer and then go home... It fetch all temp content / browsers temp contents / RAM content / stored uid/pwd and a f'ing ton of infos... If you type a "Internet ID" it will remain in the RAM or remnants of it will be somewhere in the temp or RAM for quite awhile... It can be fetched if the PC wasn't shutdown...

Looks like Christmas will be sooner than expected for scammers and identity theft....

Well we've had internet ID for years. No such problems. And do enlighten me how you fetch someones stuff from RAM if the computer has been shut down? Or do you mean if it was used and the computer left on?

BigTimeCheater, they already crossed that line when they passed Obamacare and the Food Safety Farse Act.

Those two laws will wipe the USA off the map but people are to caught up in their bread and circuses to realize it yet.

Once our farmers are gone, once our small businesses are no longer around to employ 50% of our work force do you think the USA will still exist? I don't. I figure we have maybe five more years before the SHTF, and that is only if Farmers do not say SCREW the city folk we ain't planting this spring (2012) cause I'm not doing all that @#%$ paperwork!

Actually that is the BEST thing that can happen and I am praying it does.

RAM can be dumped if the machine is powered on easily on Win based machines and Linux. Its harder for MAC and couldn't be done for awhile but recently some new attacks surfaced which allows it to be done at certain extend. Contrary to popular belief certain RAM types can still be dumped and some information fetch "RIGHT" after a computer as been shutdown but you have from a couple seconds to at the most 1 minute maybe a bit more it depends on a variety of factors.

As an example a fully encrypted machine can be broken and the encryption algorithm leaked in alot of cases through a cold boot attack which means the attacker plug in a key and cold boot the machine forcing it to reboot onto a USB stick that was pre-crafted with a bare bone linux OS that can boot in a couple of seconds with a on-boot execution script that launch the attack and purge the remnants bits from the RAM. From where you can fetch certain infos and often the algorithm, some encryption now though are taking this attack factor in mind when creating new encryption and there's a couple things that can be done to make this attack impossible but just to prove a point it can be done

This is a huge security threat...

I keep wondering if the District of Criminals is THAT much of a donkey's rear or if this is all a long range plan.

I am amazed that the US government, in the midst of the worst financial crises ever, is content for short-selling to drive down the asset prices that the government is trying to support....The bald fact is that the combination of ignorance, negligence, and ideology that permitted the crisis to happen still prevails and is blocking any remedy.

Either the people in power in Washington and the financial community are total dimwits or they are manipulating an opportunity to redistribute wealth from taxpayers, equity owners and pension funds to the financial sector. Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury www.countercurrents.org...

I have finally come to the conclusion that they are vicious, sociopathic traitors.

In Sept. 14, 1994 David Rockefeller, speaking at the UN Business Council
"This present window of opportunity, during which a truly peaceful and interdependent world order might be built, will not be open for too long - We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."

In the 2002 Rockefeller autobiography “Memoirs” on page 405, Mr. Rockefeller writes:
“For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents... to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as “internationalists and of conspiring with others around the world ... If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Anyone see anything that shows the world economic crash wasn't orchestrated by the World's Central Bankers????

My faith in our government if fading away slowly one bill at the time... its not that I don't want to believe in it... but their actions remind me of wife beaters that says "You made me do it...", "Its for your own good, it hurts me more than you..."

I'd love to wake up one morning and say I'm proud of my government but soon as I turn the TV I get flooded with reasons not to...

I agree with hotbakedtater, and I'm sure there are many on the net who would do the same. With all the other things wrong the country, this ranks pretty low on the gotta do list. One more thing to be able to track us. It seems Obama and the DHS cannot stand the idea of Americans having any sort of privacy, and are scrambling for ways to monitor and control us.

I suspect that Obama & his posse can't stand the amount of adverse info posted on him anonymously. Not only does Obama have a thin-skin when it comes to criticism, but with the 2012 election looming, it would be soooo nice (for him) to be able to SQUELCH his online critics -- with fear that they can be EASILY identified.

While I'm only taking a wild guess with my statement above,I shudder to think where this will lead to in reality. The noose is on and tightening and yet they still keep adding more nooses to people's necks. I guess one just isn't enough.

It is not a wild guess. Most of the structure needed to turn the USA into a slave state is already in place.

The traitors in Congress have been setting us up for years. I detail a lot of it in the last post I made HERE

Briefly: What the Banksters/Corporate Cartel is REALLY after is OUR LAND.

Over 40% of US land is farmland. Over 22 million people are employed in farm or farm-related jobs U.S. farmers produce 46% of the world’s soybeans, 41% of the world’s corn, 20.5% of the world’s cotton and 13% of the world’s wheat. Agricultural products account for over 10% of the US export dollar. If you control the world's food supply you have complete control, just ask any military leader.

The Ag cartel has used tax subsidized grain from the EU and the USA to bankrupt foreign farmers. Clinton admitted this was intentional. For example 75% of the farmers in Mexico have been wiped out. Now they are targeting the USA and the EU. Laws similar to the one just past by Congress wipedout 60% of the farmers in Portugal and that was NOT during a depression!

The tools for land confiscation is the recent triple whammy.
1. The orchestrated real estate collapse:

2. The proposed confiscation of American's personal saving that will prohibit individuals from investing in land.

3. The Food Safety Farce that has just been enacted into law.

Please understand farmers have ONE buyer, the Food Cartel who sets the price they will pay the farmer. This means the added cost of the new regulations can not be passed on to the consumer.

As if that is not enough of a blow the Obamacare law contained a new tax regulation.

Please understand Small Business is what is keeping the USA alive. 17% of US workforce is employed by the Federal government. Over fifty percent work for small businesses. This means less than 30% of the US workforce actually work for large corporations who can handle lots of new paperwork easily.

Section 9006 of the health care bill -- just a few lines buried in the 2,409-page document -- mandates that beginning in 2012 all companies will have to issue 1099 tax forms not just to contract workers but to any individual or corporation from which they buy more than $600 in goods or services in a tax year.

The stealth change radically alters the nature of 1099s and means businesses will have to issue millions of new tax documents each year....

The bill makes two key changes to how 1099s are used. First, it expands their scope by using them to track payments not only for services but also for tangible goods. Plus, it requires that 1099s be issued not just to individuals, but also to corporations.... money.cnn.com...

The IRS requires that you get the EIN or SS# at the time of the transaction, not just at tax-filing time. This means you have to demand good old WALLYMART give you its EIN BEFORE you can buy anything! Of course all of this new found money, estimated at 300 billion, goes to the Banksters to pay the interest on the fraudulent "National Debt" Debt from the Fed loaning the US government thin air. (40% of the Federal Debt is owned by the FED)

Can you hear that giant sucking sound? It s the banksters sucking the last drops of wealth from the USA.

As they drive our small businesses and farmers into bankruptcy with these two new laws, they do NOT want people to understand what is happening and organizing. This is the real reason for the internet ID.

Crimvelvet, excellent post! Well-researched and brilliantly thought out.

I think the Bilderbergers chose Obama (which is why Obama & Hillary were called to their meeting before the 2008 election) to be the POTUS. They own the MSM -- which is why ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC, NYT, Time, etc. were all BLATANTLY cheering for Obama -- and suppressing any unflattering stories about him.

Even Rupert Murdoch (who owns Fox) supported Obama.

I suspect our politics is theatre for the masses --- so they're given the illusion of choice.

I hope to God I'm wrong.

This could possibly be what they want though. Just make it really diificult and a pain in the butt to even be on the net and many users will cancel. Since the internet is a great tool for uniting and distribution of information, that will be to the government's liking, won't it? Have less people connected and less people will be as informed as they would be if they were connected to the web.

Ever wonder why texting ? How much easier to record texting than voice on a phone . They can go back and pull up you phone conversation from an earlier time to convict you in a crime . Face recognition cameras can pick you out on a busy street corner . Look at all of those cameras and RFID sensors popping up along the highways . They are supposed to monitor traffic but almost all electronic devices ( cars) built today has Bluetooth technology that can talk with other devices via a built in antenna .
I do believe that we are being monitored and classified by Home Land Security for the time when marshal law will be declared . Most likely by a false flag operation . Read about FEMA Marshal Law if you dare ..
