I don't believe Jesus ever asked anyone to bow from what I have read, or actually can already tell.

only asked that they walk with him awhile...

Friend, there is no "Word of Christ,"

Really now? I have a book in my possession that is comprised of 66 books by 44 different authors who didn't know or meet each other over a period of thousands of years making up a complete integrated message system of supernatural origin from outside the space time dimension. A message system that anticipates and was designed to withstand hostile jamming. A message system that operates just like a modern day holographic image. A message system that writes the future in advance, sometimes thousands of years beforehand. And a message system that has it's own security apparatus preserving every letter of text with a heptadic structure even today's fastest computers would be impossible to duplicate.

Now is a good time to watch the video series I linked previously when you asked. I didn't post them for my own good.

Operative words here are "words of Christ." She me any proof you have that a man by the specific name of Jesus actually live, ancient records, documents and so on, and show me the signature of Jesus the Christ on any document at all, and perhaps then I will believe that Jesus the Christ actually wrote something down.
FYI, the Romans, and Egyptians kept excellent records, and Philo of Alexandra was a historian at the supposed time of Jesus' life.

LOL, come on now. Even secular scholars and historians say Jesus lived. They deny He was God manifest in the flesh, but they don't say He never lived. Only fringe skeptics and pseudo historians claim otherwise.

My friend, Your avatar eludes to you relying on reason, logic, and intelligence as your means for deciding what is true. If this is truly the case, use these tools of the human mind to understand what Christ was teaching and you will find it is true. You are losing his message due to the bias you hold against the carriers of his truth. Christians may have done many things in the past in conflict with what Christ taught, they may still do it today, but that does not mean that because of their actions the message they carry is void.

Look at the world we live in. We are divided one against the other over not much more than the ideas that run through our head. Is this a world of logic and reason?

Do you believe based on your own intelligence that you can force someone to see your point of view by denigrating their own? Is this logic and reason at work?

Christ's message was one of love for all. He did not define God nor claim to be God, but rather focused his message on how we relate to one another.

There are 6 billion plus people on this planet all with different ideas of what God is. Who is right and who is wrong? The answer will always fall back to nothing more than personal belief. What matters is how we treat each other while we are here.

Thus such trivial matters are irrelevant. God will reveal himself to each as God sees fit. The kingdom of God is within you.

There is no doubt as to how we shall find peace with such varying interpretations of this world. We must learn to accept each other for who we are. No man has a right to invade anothers personal kingdom of God, which is within them, their perception of this world. All we have a right to is our free will, and allowing each the same right to their free will. To do this is to love one another. Thus, we have Christs two great commandments:

Love God with all your being, and your neighbor as yourself.

If your logic, reason, and intelligence can prove any other way to peace, show me. No one has yet to prove this doctrine wrong.

With Love,

Your Brother

Which secular scholars and historians would that be? Don't just generalize, like the Christians do. Be specific. What did Philo of Alexandria have to say on Jesus? He actually lived during the time of Jesus, he should know, if anyone would.

I was brought up in a church that taught the pre-trib rapture. They did not mention that the doctrine is only about 100 years old and possibly dreamt up by a feverish little girl. To accept it exclusively means that you have to buy that all the theologoians for the previous 1900 years were wrong on this point. That seems awfully arrogant. Each of the positions pre, post mid, pre-wrath have adhherents and scripture to back up their positions I do not hazard a choice on this.
Those that hold this pre-trib view, if wrong, are in danger of allowing themselves to be marked because it would not fit their time frame and may not see it for what it is. Those that believe the mark is not a literal thing are in the same boat.

To answer the OPs original question; when I was young(er) I did not want it to happen as I had some living to do, now I would welcome it I have had a pretty good life. Do not get me wrong though I am happy to stick around here awhile longer

I read somewhere someone said, as of 6/15/2010 anyone caught up into that spirit teaching of man, will not be gathered up? Funny how much spirit man has added to Yahweh's word, the Day of Yahweh will get people of that spirit belief?

Every Knee Shall Bend . Even the hard headed stiff necked dried up old farts that abhor Jesus will bow before him . Better start practicing He will be back before you know it , literally .
Do you really know there is no Jesus Christ or do you know that you really don't want there to be any truth to it . If he is real what is it to you ? If he is not what is it to you ? His return will be a great and terrible day as said in the bible . The world events of today especially having to do with the Jewish people prove the bible is true . The truth is there if you dare .
