hi all.

I discovered a strange site. it says that over 2000 people have dreamed of someone appearing in their dreams and most would say that this figure is the very same person!

www.thisman.org...

From January 2006 until today, at least 2000 people have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams, in many cities all over the world: Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Rome, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Dehli, Moskow etc.

At the moment there is no ascertained relation or common trait among the people that have dreamed of seeing this man. Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams.

and here are two dreams that were submitted.
"end time" warnings, here, folks!

" I dreamt this man... was Brazilian and very handsome. He was a schoolteacher type with 6 fingers on his right hand. He said if the US had a nuclear disaster: go North!"

" I have seen this man in 3 completely different dreams. He was slightly different from the picture, but I recognized him immediately. He appeared suddenly and disappeared in the same manner. His message in all 3 of my dreams was:" It's all over". That was repeated 3 times in each dreams. The differences in the picture and the man in my dreams are: his hair was a little longer in the top; his eyebrows were not as bushy. Other than that, he is identical. I had no fear of him, but many questions."

anonymous, Looking at this portrait on the news feed on my facebook my stomach immediately dropped. Even looking at the portrait makes me feel queazy. Unexplainably I know this man, but I don't at the same time. I feel very uncomfortable reading what people have to say.

D.I have seen this man many times in in my dreams. He has been my father, stalker, lover, and a homeless man who has given my good advice. Except, he has never had such large eyebrows.

Anonymous,I don't believe I have seen him in my dreams, but I think I've seen him in real life. It makes me a little scared to think about it! D=

THEORIES

Several theories have been developed to explain the mysteriously recurring presence of this man in the dreams of different people who are not related in any way. The following theories are the ones that elicit the greatest interest among the dreamers themselves.

ARCHETYPE THEORY
According to Jung's psychoanalytic theory, this man is an archetypal image belonging to the collective unconscious that can surface in times of hardship (emotional development, dramatic changes in our lives, stressful circumstances etc.) in particularly sensitive subjects.

RELIGIOUS THEORY
According to this theory this man is the image of the Creator, that is to say one of the forms in which God manifests himself today. This is the reason why his indications and the words he utters during the dreams should be decidedly followed by the dreamers.

DREAM SURFER THEORY
It is the most interesting theory and the one that has the greatest implications, but it has also the lowest scientific credibility. According to this theory this man is a real person, who can enter people's dreams by means of specific psychological skills. Some believe that in real life this man looks like the man in the dreams. Others think that the man in the dreams looks completely different from his real life counterpart. Some people seem to believe that behind this man there is a mental conditioning plan developed by a major corporation.

DREAM IMITATION THEORY
This is a scientific psycho-sociological theory which claims that this phenomenon has arisen casually and has progressively developed by imitation. Basically when people are exposed to this phenomenon they become so deeply impressed that they start seeing this man in their dreams.

DAYTIME RECOGNITION THEORY
This theory states that the apparitions of this man are purely casual. Normally we do not remember precisely the faces we see in our dreams. The image of this man would thus be an instrument which, in the subject's waking life, facilitates recognition of an undefined oneirical image.

the comments page has over 290 of them, in the guestbook, although as only 255 characters are permitted, not much was written by anyone.

so what do you all think of this one. I put this in the prediction section as this IS a prediction, via the two dreams.

I think that i have seen this thing before, a year ago, some internet places.

I wouldn't give those comments any credit, if I remember correctly this was done by some company, guerilla marketing. I would chalk it up to the end time messages just being a random part of the dream.

This has been posted on this site before.

It was a huge ad campaign type of thing where they posted this man's face in a bunch of places, and people subconsciously saw this, and then when they saw his face on the website, they recognized it subconciously.

I'm sure someone can explain it better. But yeah.

Sorry. Been posted before.

This has been around for awhile. If I remember correctly, it was to see if people reported seeing him in their dreams after seeing his face and reading the story to see if ads can catch on in your dreams through suggestion. I could be wrong.

good find, you get a S&F indeed for this. I find it odd, and fascinating that all these people had a dream about the same person. This definitely needs to be researched further. Too bad someone cant get all these people or most of them for a group hypnosis session. that would be interesting to say the least.

This has been posted a few times here

www.abovetopsecret.com...

It its a general image of a man common to most people. They made a photo fit. Most would say they recognise a look a like of this man. In my opinion nothing spiritual or wonderful here.
Take the same photo to India, China or Africa and see if you get the same response..
Change the features a bit and I am sure you will.
Just my opinion
Take care

I cant say personally that I remember him being in my dreams etc. However going by his photo I think I have seen him around town a lot and he is of average height, is shabbily dressed and has a beer gut and... bizarrely is always going out with the most gorgeous, hot looking blond or brunette around.

His name is David. The only time I remember him in my dreams was when he was driving down the interstate and he said " ok, everybody better get out of my way!". Oh wait, that's not a dream, that's just a memory of mine. He's very friendly and nice. Just don't get in his way on the highway. After reading this thread maybe we should make plans for global domination.

I was afraid of that, an ad campaign or test for viral marketings. I was not sure, still am not sure. sometimes these things end up getting a life of their own. then who knows that *a* entity inspired them all to make this here camaign! then the "joke" would be on the marketers!

let me do a quick Look......

And then, framework.v2.nl...:

He is the creative director of guerrigliamarketing.it, sociologist and journalist investigating youth culture and media communication, and a writer for TV programs about magic. Using a variety of pseudonyms, he has published essays on UFO"s, extreme sex and the art of sabotage. In 1995 he was known as Luther Blissett.

Founded in Italy in 2003 guerrigliamarketing.it, is an advertising agency that uses non-conventional communication techniques, like the creation of fictitious events or campaigns reaching the limits of legality, through which "# the market in order to enter it", entering the media system and taking away the automatism communication. Christ, be a bit more skeptic next time and do a bit of research, you rubes.

I posted about this Saturday. It's the work of an Italian marketer and sociologist who specializes and "creative hoaxes." Nice spooky premise, and that info being widely available probably won't stop the scores of people who saw "this man" in their dreams.

there.
this might settle it. perhaps I *should* have done the research first, but the "Find" was too too good to pass up!!

As I say here.
"they, the marketing people, scored with this one, but oooh Suppose that some "entity" in the spirit world inspired this Andrea to make all of this up?!

enough people dream of this face and the Face will Come "for real", too!

so I leave this one to you all, to have fun with it.

according to Tibetan Dream Yoga this is quite possible; just so you all know.

so it was an ad campaign, hmm... reminds me of something called "product placement" that was referred to in Grant Morrissons "The Invisibles"
the next time you're lucid in a dream look out for advertisements and such

all the more reason and incentive to wake up in both the physical and inner worlds

S&F
thanks for the alert it may have been posted before but I'm only seeing it now

hi all.

well I placed this topic about the Face in this here forum, not only for the "wow...I found a neat topic" post, but for the Possibility of this being Real even as I knew it was a marketing trick, I did not even do the homework, before I posted, as I think that there is Something Else Going on here!

some background, from a spiritualist standpoint. [yes, some spiritual metaphysics here!]

1...psychologists write about how there often are "strange people" in one's dreams; often they represent the dreamer.
2...psychologists write about how for many people and often for women, the "unknown man" represents her soul's Speaker. [a man might have a woman do this].
3...there is the spirit world and there are spirits there, who recently died from earth, and they "flit around" to go from person to person. Some give advice, some taunt and tease, some are angry, some are just lost. the common bond here is that these soulsare not "enfranchised" by higher spirits and angels, these spirits do it on their own, meaning that these spirits are probably "wrong" in whatever they see and know.

4....there are Angels. never been incarnated. real Angels. they would appear *as* a man or a woman, to a dreamer.

5.....spiritualists say that each person has a spirit guide with no exceptions. this guide could appear in one's dreams.

[now here is where Freestone gets into real deep doo doo stuff!!]

6...there are certain masters, even while living on earth, who can out of body travel, and can *OBJECTIVELY*
visit other people in their dreams. One of these masters, out of many, is Sathya Sai baba.

Dreams of Lord Sai Baba

www.saibaba.ws...

The Mohammedan musician who performed yesterday had not seen Me on any prior occasion. I asked him, "Son, do you remember that when you met with a car accident in America I appeared before you at that very instant?" Hearing this revelation, he exclaimed, "O my God!" and shed tears of joy. The same night I appeared in his dream and told him that he would be coming to Puttaparthi for the ensuing Birthday celebrations. It happened accordingly; he came here yesterday.

There are certain confusing dreams in which your feelings play an active role. You may be seeing Swami but at the same time your feelings get mixed up and cause confusion. You may see yourself in Puttaparthi at one point of time and in America in the very next, so on and so forth. These dreams are not willed by Swami. These result from indigestion and improper food. Dreams which are willed by Me are very clear and give no room for confusion or doubt. I come to you and convey what I want to in the most direct manner (cheers). Swami's grace is very much there on one and all whether He appears in their dreams or not."

The above was a direct quote from Page 98 in the April 1999 English Version of Sanathana Sarathi wherein Lord Sai poses the question..and the answer.

and

www.saibaba.ws...

I was inquisitive and asked him if I could see through the book for a few seconds. He obliged and when I opened the book I became still. The bold inscription on the page I opened was an excerpt from Swami's discourse which said, "I appear in dreams at My will. If you think that I appear because of your thinking, you are mistaken." Instantly, all doubts about His mysterious appearance vanished! This was just the beginning.

baba often appears in devotee's dreams and sai baba says that each such dream is "objectively real"; that it *is*
baba who is "really there".

=========

and now for the Joker in the deck!!

7....a guide once spoke through a medium [channeler] saying to the psychic development class, in the room, telling them about Jesus in the spiritual planes. [Paul: "I knew a man who was taken to the 3rd heaven"....there are levels of heaven.]
This Guide said that Jesus, up there, to many people who see him, Jesus does not look*anything* like he does in all of the paintings and icons!

so here, people, is my Joker-idea!
---that in these 2010...2012 end time days when the age is supposed to rollover to another age, there is a kind of "new spiritual dispensation" going on, a bit like of the "descent of the dove, Pentecost", a few years after Jesus was killed.
That in these days, either Jesus himself, or some of his Appointed helper souls and angels, are making the Rounds of all humanity! this Person, or his helpers, are counseling as many people as they can reach, by entering their dreams, "Objectively"!
To counsel, to warn, to help.

thus this marketing campaing taps into a far FAR deeper reality than even they could have imagined. in fact, these marketers might even have been "Impulsed" by Jesus and these guides to do this very thing, to make up the face-story!!

I have yet to read some of those 290 pages of comments, but from what i have read so far, there are many Real happenings, of seeing certain personage[s] in their dreams. note that few people see that exact face that is in the poster.

I, myself, saw the Face, in my dreams!
it was on a wall, a mural-like something. above the Face was the three crosses of Jesus, and the face was under these crosses. a large face, not quite like that image on the face site. I have also seen this face before, in my dreams.

I feel, without any "proof", thus only a speculation here, folks, and i willleave this speculation as such for you all to take up, as if I am right , this thread should soon have 100 pages to it.

the spiritual appearance of the SECOND COMING of Jesus Christ!!
*this* is what I think this face is about.

have a good day, freestone.
