I have lived all my life without ever coming to the conclusion that there is more going on right before my eyes - literally.

I have fairly good vision, the farther an object is, the less detail I am able to make out; but my vision itself itself is flawless.

Just before this post I was glancing at a hanging draw string for my lamp next to my monitor. While looking at the wooden ball hang at the bottom of the medal beaded string I noticed what I would describe as fuzz.

I do not to drugs, I have been interested in energy, vibrations, frequencies, etc. for at least 2 years and lately I have not looked into anything of that matter. That has changed tonight...

Please, take a look at something for yourself, anything. Focus on it for a short 5 to 10 seconds and just relax your gaze on the object. - I was doing this before I began to notice a translucent haze of static. Almost like fuzz - the only way I can explain what I am seeing is...

It's like an ocean of transparent but sensible particles just rushing through everything. Very tiny particles.

Please take a moment to see for yourself!

Yes I see it also. That is so creepy. Man how do I fix my eyes now?
I can't stop seeing it now.
Seriously man I hope you didn't break me.

it's starting to vibrate at an elevated harmonious resonant frequency, MY GOD, and tiny birds are falling into the zero point field, as the galatic trumpet sounds, and we all become like nodes on this self generating vast active living information system!

I dont think things just changed, I think your being more aware. Ive see that (what I think your referring to) for a long time. In fact I always see it when it's dark, other times to. (But, to be fair, I have done some psychedelic drugs in the not very recent past if that has anything to do with it)

Noticed that quite a few years ago. Funny thing is that I've never had 20/20 vision, but when I put my contacts in, I can't see this other "stuff". I have used meditative techniques to try and train my eyes to see things that we normally can't see, and I've succeeded a handful of times, but NEVER has it worked with contacts in. I've often wondered if my natural near-sightedness aids in my ability to relax my focus. Strange...

Its called an aura, and yes its fascinating.

Its similar to and the visual converse of the constant humm of energy that one can hear if he just focuses himself.

The very word 'aura' itself is from the Hebrew word 'Ohr" light. Also the word 'halo' is directly taken from a verse in Amos which refers to a glowing aura around ones head.

Hey... I haven't quite been able to 'see' this yet... however it reminds me of a book I once read.

I believe it was called "The tenth Insight" or... perhaps it was called.... yes... it was

"THE CELESTINE PROPHECY"

Im also near sighted. I have very keen close vision, but very poor far vision. Symbolically that reflects the nature of the 'soul'. A more extroverted person would have 'far' vision, because his interests lie in the outer world which is 'beyond' him, whereas someone with close vision would probably be more introverted, reflecting his inner, philosophical or spiritual side. Its more 'focused' than the outer vision, which required less focus (in regards to vision).

I have seen that as long as I can remember. I describe it as seeing the pixels that make up my field of vision, but pixels that move a little. It's especially visible against white backgrounds or in the dark. If you're specifically referring to the "fuzz" that surrounds an object that looks kind of yellow and gray, I see that too.

Here's one for you; do you ever see a small, soccer ball shaped object in complete darkness, or when you close your eyes, that kind of vibrates and changes size slightly, it also looks like it's outlined in an electric yellow? Anyone have an explanation for THAT? lol I used to watch it to help me fall asleep as a kid. I had a hard time finding it just now, when I tried to look for it. Guess I'm out of practice.

Personally, I've always thought there was a biological explanation for this; possibly being able to see the cells that are in our eyes, or maybe something neurological.

While we are on the subject...
I've started meditating and it seems that somehow I can bend my vision. For example, I sit in the lotus pose and in front of me, a few meters away there is my table. If I concentrate enough, the table will start to go up and down, and can also go right and left. Don't get me wrong, the table is not actually moving. Or is it? I totally freaked out when this happened the first time. Now I have kind of got used to it. I have used binaural beats, but this happens even though I am not using them.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Wow, I started to see something like this in spring 2010. At first I thought it´s because I had meditated regularly about 6 months, but this is still unexpected. Sometimes I see it more strongly, other days weeker and 3 times I´ve seen something like darker cloud of particles changing shape very fast on the sky. I also see flashes of lights often, but I didn´t pay much attention to it. I have normal vision too, never needed any glasses. It has amazed me and I can tell, that there are more around us, just our eyes are usually not tuned to see everything. It´s like some transparent web, constantly moving. And yes, focusing to one spot, helps. It´s very interesting, that other people describe similar thing!
Thanks for the post!

Are you sure its not just you deceiving yourself? this too should come into play as a factor.

Im not saying that superhuman things can be done.. but there all also plenty of insane people who think they see thngs that we know are simply inner complexes projected into his reality, or in other cases someone who has generated for himself a serious case of delusion based on some paranoid or fantastical idea they had.

Have you experimented with this? If you truly can bend your visiom than have someone place an object on one side of a table, while you on the opposite side and completely outside its view can attempt to bend your vision to see what it is.

If you CAN do it, than you have developed a superhuman power. Otherwise, youre just playing tricks on yourself.

When you stare fixedly at something for long enough, it 'burns' a temporary silhouette of itself on your retina, usually in a colour complementary to that of the object. I believe this is due to a temporary alteration in the sensitivity of your retinal cells to compensate for the object's relative brightness. The same thing happens more obviously when you stare at a light.

When you move your head a little (which happens even when you're trying to hold it still, unless it is externally braced), that 'burned' silhouette no longer overlaps the object perfectly. You then see a more or less fuzzy 'aura' around the object. It's just an optical illusion.

Long ago, a devotee of a Japanese cult called Mahikari (which is big on spiritual 'light' and auras) tried to show me my own aura in a darkened TV studio by getting me to steeple my fingers with the tops almost touching, and see the 'energy flow' between my fingertips. I saw it, of course; but there really wasn't anything there.

Good explanation! I used to think I was seeing auras when I was a teen, and "taught" others to do the same, but as I got older and started thinking about things more critically, I figured there had to be another explanation. You provided that explanation, at least as a possibility. Thank you! (Of course, I'm still open to the possibility that I am in fact seeing energy, but absent an alternate rational explanation, I'd think myself to be nuts. I like possibilities.)

To sugarcookie: You're welcome! Thanks for sharing your experience too, so I don't sound like the lone nutball! lol Now if we could just get an opthamologist or neurologist in here to give us his or her explanation...

I recommend going out side look up to some blue sky. Tell me what you see, i see micro organisms in the air flying and doing something and know what they doing. It possible seeing micro organisms with naked eye but to date I cant confirm it in the air or surface of the eye. Some time ago I played with digicam took the lens out and look into it at a very specific angle with light I could see the surface of my eye reflection in the lens.

Okay to do this experiment you need camera lens and light. You are not suppose to look through to lens instead look at it as mirror. You must have light source above your head (room light) then have to look at the lens close as possible while the light continues to shine on the lens, basically you have to look at the lens with an angle.

Last I went to bed and this fuzz was like a storm cloud all over my room. It's almost like static, but it's nothing you can see 'for sure'. It's almost like your eyes are playing a trick on you and you arent sure if you are really seeing it or not.

I do find this topic interesting though. Could this be our senses transmuting into something else? Maybe our senses will be heightened and we will see more than just color. This is an exciting time my friends, don't get too carried away with what you are noticing, enjoy it and embrace it to keep your sanity.
