Voices of outrage are being raised over one of outgoing California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's last official acts of commuting the manslaughter sentence of the son of former state Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. Schwarzenegger cut the time for Esteban Nunez from 16 years to seven. Nunez and another man previously pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the 2008 death of a San Diego college student. The "Los Angeles Times" reports San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis blasted the decision by saying it "greatly diminishes justice." San Diego City Attorney Jan Goldsmith charged Schwarzenegger reduced the sentence to, quote, "help his political crony's son." Although Schwarzenegger is a Republican and the elder Nunez is a Los Angeles Democrat, the two were political allies in San Francisco. A barrage of criticism has also come from the victim's family, prison rights experts and prosecutors.

If a lot of politicians/CEOs are psycho/sociopaths they have to make it more worthwhile for them to be themselves, or else they won't run for office. They must show that the door is wide open for these people, or else, who would govern us?
