God is in charge, not mother earth. But, look at the plagues on Egypt. They were all directed at their gods. So, if you and many others have agreed to worship the earth, then God is just shaking your god like rag doll. Maybe you will get the message, but historically people have not caught on to this tactic, even though God puts it in black and white for you.
