Im looking for someone who can impart wisdom on to me which i find very rare. usually the lessons being passed down i've already understood them. Usually if i ask someone what they think about something i get a mediocre response or something that isnt really thought provoking. however, if i try to explain something to them they don't really follow me completely and don't understand my logic.

Don't hate me for this but you appear a thirsty wanderer in a desert expecting to meet someone who has some water for you. Either expect a fata morgana, an oasis or get out of the desert. Almost like wisdom is a drug and you're looking for a dealer, maybe if you keep on this path you've set for yourself it will become like that. There is wisdom in joy, no high IQ needed for the genuine stuff.

I feel like its just there in me. I have considered a major in some kind of psychology based field because i seem to just deal really well with helping people with their issues. If you don't know how you know what to say you're probably mostly using your willpower to make the other feel better. Which is a talent not many have.

Irregardless of our IQs ( whatever that measures) we all need communication skills. I am no exemplar when it comes to communication skills. I get frustrated with people so I have work to do. Another thing that needs to be considered is emotional intelligence. Check out the book by Daniel Goelman.

well c'est moi! i too am very wise AND humble- im far too noble to lie. later in life one may discover what he took for wisdom was just foolishness. maybe that can more or less happen to us all. in my profound wisdom, i think Ayn Rand was a gift (from somewhere!) to the human race, but i think james clavell's TAI-PAN is a good place to explore for moral questions. would be willing to kick this around a little.
