No, they needed weapons because Hitler was greedy, the US were building weapons because they were provoking the Japanese by using an Embargo amongst other things, and they needed an excuse to get into European war.

Provoking the Japanese? We told them that they needed to get out of china cuz they had invaded it and if they didn't we would stop shipments of oil and other goods we didn't provoke nothing Japan just decided to mess with the wrong country.

America "Pearl Harboured"

That is such a cart-load of stinky, fly attracting poop.

Is America somehow responsible for Japan's invasion of Manchuria? For the rape of Nanking? For the rape of prisoner 'comfort women?' For the seizing of indochina? For the invasion of the Phillipines?

Regardless of what you try to accuse america of knowing, It is the JAPANESE who dropped the bombs on Pearl Harbor. No one forced them to cross a thousand miles of ocean and commit 3 aircraft carrier groups. No one forced them to do it all without a formal declaration of war. Did America force them to draw up plans for the invasion of Alaska? Did the US invent Kamikaze tactics, and find a Japanese term to describe it???? The Japanese chose to do all these things, because they thought they would win. No one but the Japanese are responsible for their actions.

The same applies to the suicidal maniacs who commandeered airplanes to kill themselves by smacking into American buildings. They could have just gone home. You blame everyone for it except the people who were dancing in the streets after it happened, and the man who took ultimate credit for it, too.

But then, I suppose America forced him to make a video rejoicing over the death and agony he had caused.

Despite you're spastic world-view, people are responsible for their OWN actions.

You're hatred and desire to blame America for everything evil has blinded you to the fact that other people do wrong things also. Maybe even worse things.

You need to move out of your parents' basement and spend some time working for a living. You'd learn real fast about the real world. About how there are evil people of every creed and hue, and about how they can't ALL be American.

Who's resorting to insulting and demeaning behaviour now, thats you by the way, I've worked out that explainations are required when a rhetorical question is made.

Despite you accusing me, I didn't actually force anyone to write those pieces, they are free to do research and present the facts however they wish, and there is little you can do to stop them.

I never made claims that the US were responsible for other peoples actions, however, they can be held responsible for the reactions of others.

As I stated previously,

I admit that my view on American society is, at present, tainted, but when discussing the matter, try to reiterate the difference between American people and the US Government.

Thats "American Society", don't spin and twist statements that don't exist.

I never said that the US does everything evil, and that no other does worse, those words were attributed to me, by you, doing that spin and twist dance.....again eh..?

As much as you want to accuse me of things I haven't said, how about I ask you whether you believe America has actually committed any wrongs?

The US ahs done some wrongs but not on purpose and for you to say that the killing of innocent civilians is equal to what the US has done it is not justified.

I couldnt have said it any better Dr strangecraft. To try to make accuses on how Japan or Germany were justifed in there actions just shows a twisted world view of WW2. Im sure I could find some website that would lend to a arguement that the Nazi parties actions were reactions of other countries. That in no way takes away from their own actions they are indeed responsible for their own actions.

Weapons serve both hero and villian alike they are neither good or evil by themselves those are descriptive terms that are only reserved for man and their actions. Too try to picture a world were everyone burns there weapons and says no more is some wishful thinking.

Japan got militaristic because they lost patience in there democracy. Japan went and invaded Asia. So we did the right thing by not giving them what they needed to take the rest of China (know that I look back maybe we should have let Japan keep China). We cut of the oil we were selling them. We had the right not to trade with them. They were going to use the oil to fuel airplanes to bomb Chinese civilians. It wasn't our fault they got angry. They got inmature so they bombed Pearl Harbor.

You guys are gonna have to explain exactly what you mean by "spastic world view" or is it your preference to insult others aswell as myself.

Please don't use unPC terminology, I'm sure you subscribe to being PC to some degree.

ShadowXIX, I don't recollect justifying in anyway Germany's involvement in WWII. Spin now twist.

I'm sure you are right, but that is far from the majority world view, as is the case regarding the invasion of Iraq.

That in no way takes away from their own actions they are indeed responsible for their own actions.

And when does America plan on doing that?

Agreed

At present, you are correct, but it's not a crime to have ideals and dreams to work toward, and no matter which way you are politically bound, you will always strive for peace. Unless of course your economy is heavily reliant on war existing, peferably in countries far far away.

It's ashame that conscience was not still present during the Iran - Iraq war.
