I love the way the "ether" swirls around the flute player. Very well captured. I wonder if that was deliberate on your part or were you "tuned in" sufficiently that the ether guided you?

By ether I mean that energy that permeates all things and is a medium by which world-wide communication might be possible. Esoteric, I know, but I believe in it. In your picture the patches of colour seem to dance around the flute player like waves of energy.

I don't know if I was guided by the ether, but I didn't really have a plan when I picked up the brush. I painted the back orange and then picked up a large, soft brush and started dipping it in several colors and water and punching it all around. I wanted the feel of movement as I always think of Kokopelli dancing as he plays.

That's nice work BH!
We were in Moab, Utah a few years ago, and saw some furniture with similar themes.
They were asking some pretty rich prices for it. Maybe you really could find a market for your work?

Thanks a lot BH. Now I got a project. The wife saw your work (which we both agree was cool/nice) and liked your idea.

We have a piece similar to that-her grandfather made. She is debating painting it now. But, I have to go get it out of the basement etc... an event I assure you.

Thanks for sharing your talent(s).

Thanks, anon.
I have another table I'm going to do and will be posting it here. It's very old, and I'll need to sand it all down first. Looking forward to the project.

Awesome work BH I really like the lizard, and especially the howling coyote.

You should make a few pieces and post them on eBay....you could make a nice return on your work. I would buy something like that if I saw it, maybe use it as a night stand.

Very cool
