The fascist apiring fools dont understand that the same tools used against us will be used against them. There is no way they can maintain complete control, chaos theory, it is impossible. Military coups will become the norm if this madness is allowed to continue.

They think the people will fear death LMAO! They are condemning their own children to a fate similar to theirs when SHTF. The world will be a better place soon the more their greed and fear increases. They are pushing an end game that will end their reign. Hope to see it

Is the law freaking out over my "oppressive guard tower"? I doubt it.

These mobile towers give nothing but protection. If LEO tried to turn on the citizens, then the officers in the towers would be "sitting ducks".

These towers are nothing more than crime deterrents; and, I applaud them.

Once it's up, take a common hand saw and cut the hydraulic hoses, person in booth go's nowhere...and I think someone mentioned something about paintball guns?

Seen a few in mall parking lots a few days ago while shopping. I asked the officer what is was for. he said" to stop crime in the parking lots" car break-in mostly. The Police Arrested a few car thieves that day and prevented some car break-ins’ from what he told me, and to assist thoes that are in need of emergency help like a rape or a person waving for help, stuff like that. I saw some at a public events also. I would call it a crime prevention tower to give officers a better view of the area. Not a prison tower. There is also cameras in the towers, a raido hooked up to a command center someplace on the otherside of the mall. I sort got 10 cent mini tour, only because I was on the ground not in the air and the door was open. I guess there was a shift change. going on when i asked. cool stuff. out tax dollars at work.

I think it;s a good tool for crime prevention. the officer have good vantage point and can respond faster to the location of the crime.

I heard from an old architect buddy that the superwalmarts have highly secure roll up doors at each entrance, one at the pharmacy and one at the food entrance...look up when walking in and see the super large housing for these roll up doors...won't show on the plans on file with the authorities but there for sure...see for yourselves...

Walmart under bushco was to be the food distribution after TSHTF...but that agenda is not over.

So are Walmarts to be on Lockdown and FEMA take over? this is SCARY... The towers are ready, most Walmart stores I see have the side roll up doors... now used for baskets or just closed... so YIKES! when SHTF are schools and Walmarts the "go to place" for help? or to stter clear from? What should we do? this sounds like it could happen.

I have always thought there was a conspiracy in my town.. You can only have 6 foot tall privacy fences, and most of the cops are 6 foot+ .. You say coincidence ..... I say Govt. conspiracy!!!.. They want to see what is going on in my back yard..

Wow, some of you guys are so friggin paranoid, it's not even funny. It's just there for security reasons. If you're not breaking into cars or raping women, then I'm sure you'll be fine. This is farrrrrrr from a "world wide police/military takeover". Yeah, anarchy is fun and police suck, until it happens to your property or your wife/girlfriend, then you wanna know where the cops were.

I saw one of these, only much bigger, located outside one of the slowest Marta rail line stations in Atlanta, at the Kennsington station. I'm baffled as to what it could possibly prevent, crime-wise... There's hardly ever much of a steady stream of folks in and out of this station...

I dont understand what we need with a guard tower, the amount of money they probably cost to acquire and maintain might as well be used towards things we may actually need.

I've said it before- Ex-military people should not be allowed to be police. And, police should not be allowed to wear military uniforms. As far as I'm concerned the officer's statement was a clear violation of posse comitatus. I also firmly believe that a cop merely wearing a military uniform is a violation.

To be clear, I support our military. In no way, shape, or form am I anti-military. I take the time to thank our service members at every opportunity. I just sent my son back to Ft. Bliss this morning.

Welcome to Walmart where you are now a prisoner. Please if you spot anything suspicious at all such as someone picking his or her nose report it immediately to the prison guard tower, but be prepared to show your id or you yourself will be shot on site.

Now that's progress.

There is one of these setup at a mall not far from where I live. There were so many car break ins that people were scared to go there so the local police department bought on of those. They keep a watch on the parking lot and it has cut the thefts down a lot. In this case it is a good thing to make people feel more secure from thieves.

Certainly a useful tool in crime prevention, rather than picking up the pieces. As a crowd control device totally useless and would require banks of uniforms to protect it, it is relatively flimsy looking sat on a horse trailer chassis and needs a windometer so not even aerodynamic...goes without saying. A set of wirecutters would finish the job. Not to say though there may be a longer term purpose, since a periscope on top of a large van would do the same job, no matter which way you look at it.

That makes no sense at all. Just think about it - the first time one of your "policemen" ran up against an ex-military, he'd be hopelessly overmatched.

US lawmakers yesterday witnessed a special demonstration of the Mobile Utility Surveillance Tower (MUST), an elevated monitoring tower that is set to be used by law enforcement in the United States as part of an emergency response to civil unrest.

The device, manufactured by Terrahawk, LLC, is basically a high-tech prison guard tower fitted with surveillance and communications capabilities.

It was demonstrated yesterday to “Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate along with their staffs; with MUST, law enforcement agencies can quickly set up a mobile surveillance tower for emergency response, crowd control, or general surveillance,” reports Homeland Security Newswire.

The fact that Congress members and Senators were given a special demonstration of the unit suggests that its makers are pushing for the device to be approved for widespread use by law enforcement domestically, and not just on the border with Mexico.

Indeed, the tower is already being used inside the United States on a limited scale. In December, members of the South New Jersey Tyranny Response Team spotted one of the units with blacked-out windows situated next to a city park in a low crime area where it remained for several days.

The tower has also been designed to be bullet-proof, its paneling consists of ballistic shields, suggesting that its use is intended for hostile situations, not merely general surveillance...

...“The portable surveillance vehicle has already been purchased by police departments across the United States and it has been deployed along the Texas border by several sheriff’s departments,” states the HSNW report.
