Too many of his Christian students at Regent University (Va. Beach, VA area) are getting busted for weed!

I love Pat Robertson. He's a realist all right. I think I'm going to send him a letter of support.

Good for him...and eventually us. This along with the recent "Mutiny" case may be of some help in abolishing this absurd prohibition.

I just wanna make it clear, I truly believe Robertson is an old delusional fool who spews nothing but hate and bigotry...but I guess someone gave him a space cookie before the show and he kinda liked it

Only a few years ago you could hear this man spouting stuff about how marijuana leads to hard drugs. There is definitely a personal agenda at stake to cause this change in his tune. It has nothing to do with "wisdom" as someone posted above; it has everything to do with business in some capacity.

Yes, Alethea, he is a founder and a major stake-holder (paid, paid) in Regent University. I should have explained this better in my initial post.

Though a Christian university, Christians aren't perfect, right? Some are going to slip up, as we all do, in some form or fashion.

And the Virginia Beach area is *known* for a prevalance of drugs...

There's some link to this, I'm sure, as he doesn't want a drop in enrollment in this type of economy.

It must be getting bad, or he wouldn't say these things to infuriate his base.
