Not only is this good news for marijuana reform, but good news that there are people that aren't totally brain-dead, or afraid, when it comes to standing up for what they believe in. It's true that people don't have to judge according to the law; they can use their own judgment. This is exactly how a lot of black people got shafted by racist juries in the early century. But every system isn't perfect, except for systems where people have no voice what so ever. Those systems are just pathetic.

In case anyone missed.

Looks like ats is bending their own rules. I wished to edit my 10:26 post. It is now 12:30, 2 hours have elapsed. I click the edit link and voila: you have exceeded the 4 hour window.

Nonsense. Little time and space distortion, ats? cough.

I wanted to say that, according to my interpretation of 'doctor' daphne simeon's prognosis, the ptb do intend to punish 'users' with nano syringes. I forgot to mention that.

The ats window for editing is not to be trusted.

Um, ATS policy is to stay away from the debate on Mj.

The real subject here is how Jury can nullify law, and how lawyers and judges try to keep this power a secret.

I'm not sure if you were responding to me, um.

If my post was off topic, they ought to have deleted it, not frozen it at the 2 hour mark. I simply wished to add to it. It was my RIGHT to delete it.

Ewwwwww, I would hate to be on the receiving end of a jury here in the south...crazy bible belt nuts would be my luck. Oh they wouldn't send me to jail or nothing, just a rehab for re-education

My friend was recently charged...the maximum he could get is 40 YEARS
many people who are convicted MURDERERS get less than that. It wasn't until I let that sink in that I realized how far gone we are and how hopeless society is. Victimless crimes are victimizing the "offender". Offending who? Big brother, and he likes them trapped for life.

I'm very happy to hear that people are standing up for what they believe. I would do the same thing.

WHAT!!!

I just went to see the D.A. about the guy who stole my semi truck and trailer. The prepass gizmo shows he drove it all over the southeast for a couple of months. The guy has FOUR felony convictions including attempted murder. Do you know what he will get for stealing a commercial vehicle and driving across state lines???

2 months probation

Yet a farmer, thanks to the law just passed, can get 10 years in jail if the processing plant he sells to screws up and contaminates the food he sold to them.

This country is really screwed up!
