michael moore's lies? oh please..how sad...

i want to ask the republicans something...why are you so angry? you have the presidency, congress, and senate. the supreme court is filled with justices appointed by you, yet you guys are frothing mad. why is that?

listen, i understand that it hurts when your proven wrong. it really hurts to admit it. i understand your angry because you were duped. and i also understand the reluctance to admit it. but when the best you can come up with is some rant about how "fat" he is, well, its just sad...

moore raises some serious points that need to be addressed. first of all, the reason why the republicans are so mad. they are a dying breed, and they know it. the overwhelming majority of americans do not agree with their polices. so here ya go, republicans, here are your fellow americans:

1: 57% of americans believe abortions should be legal in all or most cases, 62% do not want roe v. wade over turned....baby killers!

2: 86% of americans agree with the goals of the civil rights movement,4 out of 5 americans think that its important for colleges to have a racially diverse campus...race traitors!!

3: 83% of americans agree with the goals of the enviromental movement. (82% worry bout toxic waste,78%worry about air pollution,67%worry about damage to the ozone.) thats right, eco-wackos running everywhere.

4: 94% of americans want federal safety regulations enacted on the manufacture and use of all handguns,and 86% want this even if it means the guns would be more expensive.

5: 80% of americans want health insurance provided equally to everyone in the country, and 52% woudl be willing to may more in taxes or insurance premiums to see that happen

6: 62% of americans support the idea of changing current laws so that fewer non-violent criminals are sent to prison.

7: 85% support equal opportunity in the work place for gays and lesbians

8: 58% think that labor unions are a good idea

so there it is, now before you rant about my sources, its all available from: washington post, wall streetjournal, usa today, harvard university, the national opinion research center, abc news, and even, yes! gasp! fox news!

so if you have something to say , other that comments on how fat michael moore is. but actually something of substance, then lets hear it!!!!!!!

But still I totally agree with you sublime, many of my conservative friends will not even consider for one second that Michael Moore is even telling the truth. While I do not agree with Michael Moore's opinions, the facts are irrefutable!

Bush does have deals with the Saudis and many would think that a war in the middle east for oil is stupid, but look at a map!

If a pipline was to be built the best way to go about it would be to start in Afghanistan, move through Iran, into Iraq, and finally through Syria into the Mediteranean Sea. I find it odd myself that of the four countries I named two have already been attacked and occupied by US forces and the other two could be attacked at any time due to "harboring of terrorists"

Well, I'm not sure what was "proven wrong". Other than that, your statement is nothing more than a cheap baiting tactic.

Ummm...ok. Majority believes they should be legal and majority does not want it overturned. So that's not your belief it seems...

As for the rest of the blather, so what? I know many people of both parties that have those beliefs. If this rant is a Moore issue, I think plenty of people have pointed out more than his weight as a problem. It's similar to a court case. You have someone accusing another, but why not look into the credibility of the accuser. There is plenty of info out there that his "facts" are not facts at all. That makes him suspect. As for Bush, yeah...he has made mistakes. I just can't wait till Kerry is in so we can then heap all mistakes on him for awhile. I mean, sure...he will have people that report to him and give him info that he makes decisions on, but I can't wait to blame him personally for every bad thing that comes down the pipe.

LOL! Then again, all problems are Bush not Clinton, so I imagine all problems will still be Bush and not Kerry. The blame-gamers are so funny.

As for Michael Moore, he showed a clip of a CNN analyst in F 9/11 saying that if ballots had been recounted in Florida after the 2000 presidential vote that Gore would have won. What he doesn't say is that a 6 month study in 2001 by news organizations including The New York Times, the Washington Post and CNN found just the opposite.

What no one can factor in is the voters who were turned away in heavily registered democratic area when the polls closed, the rule is if your in line before the deadline time, you are supposed to be allowed to vote, also not factored in is the people whose names were similar to a felon not being allowed to vote though they had committed no crime, most of these people were democrats. Its impossible to say that George Bush won after the votes were counted. Its not impossible to figure out that a lot of people were intentionally cheated out of their right to vote though and its clear that this happened in a state that Bush's brother just happened to be governor.
