Former FBI agents are helping local authorities train thousands of garbage collectors across the country as a nationwide internal spy force to report “suspicious activity” to police in yet another example of how America is turning into an East German-style informant society as the country decays from within.

Local news reports out of Albany concerning the new “Waste Watch” program, wherein garbage collectors are trained by former FBI agents to look for suspicious activity, were replete with nodding drones expressing how delighted they were that they were being spied on by their fellow Americans.

Your local trash man will “help prevent crime” by “reporting anything suspicious they observe along the route,” reports Fox News 23.

This is great! I'll now be able to sleep better at night because schizophrenic high school drop outs will be reporting suspicious activity!

that's right, mock the garbage collectors for doing a job that, clearly, you wouldn't do.

turth is, if the folks collecting our trash knew what bomb making materials looked like, they might actually find remnants of experiments, resulting in our catching people before they blow something up. not just terrorists but all those kids and whackjobs who flip out and on killing sprees.

You know..."prisonplanet" is a perfect name for that website

You read it and become so paranoid about everything, that you literally are imprisoned by your own conspiratorial fear...and of course this feeds an addiction to keep reading the website to find out what else you need to be shellshock afraid of.

ignore their nonsense...they allow for no retort..its Fear this, and no opposing argument allowed.

But hey, it pays their rent.

Umm are you implying they made this story up? The video of the news report is on Fox 23's website here - www.fox23news.com...

Of course I wouldn't. I have respect for myself.

So getting countless men (many of which aren't entirely sane) to report suspicious activity so they can MAYBE thwart a terrorist act is worth the loss of more freedom? Seriously?

No, they spin stories to obscurity.
The article talks about having your trash man notice danger signs..aka, a child missing in the neighborhood and seeing that ripped up little girl dress with blood on it in that single guy's home garbage, fire, etc etc etc...aka, be aware and don't overlook things that are clearly wildly out of place.

Prison planet paints such pictures as suddenly your trash guy is going through every bag you bring out to uncover dirt on you..makes you think suddenly the CIA is collecting your garbage.

They rarely make stuff up...their gig is to take things and spin and twist it into the most paranoid fetish possible, then spew it out.

so there are countless "insane" sanitation workers? where are you getting this information from?
you wouldn't haul trash if it was the only way to feed your children?

perhaps you should think about all the disgusting things you toss out and contemplate how much you owe the folks who haul it away from your home. without them, you'd be ear deep in trash.

Out of mild curiousity, what do you do for a job? What isn't beneath you...

These guys perform a essential service to society.

Most people would not consider such a job,but most of these guys are extremely honest, hardworking men and women.

I believe there are a number of well known figures in society that their fathers were garbage collectors.

I believe they and postal workers should all be trained observers.

It used to be taxi cab drivers but we know in today's society most of them are suspects.

Pretty sure you need to graduate HS to pick up garbage. You need a diploma to even sweep floors in Canada.

This is really nothing new, sadly.
After that one day in 2001, the FBI, through the Justice Dept, started programs recruit most civil servant type workers to report suspicious activity.
They focused on utility workers, mailmen and any other govt worker that may have access to your home or your power/internet usage.
Its really a shame that our own Govt treats us this way but im assuming theyve always felt this way towards us but were unable to do anything about it until laws were changed or skirted and courts were bought.

Postal workers have long had forms they can fill out about people they think are suspicious or unpatriotic or otherwise thinking too much out loud, and an FBI detail will be sent to watch them.
