Wow,now this is mind-boggling. How far can or will this go? If you thought people were having trouble finding work now,just wait till this program gets really rolling. I guess they'll need those FEMA camps for all of those people who aren't allowed to fly or work.

It only accounts for when a person unescorted goes into a secure area on maritime stuff. So basically, it's only for a very small percentage of people. From the actual TWIC site. Not the entire private sector.

Be sure to read the part about SWAC. This is a security effort being implemented among both private and public authorities which includes over 500 organizations, not just ports. This affects construction, trade and transportation on a broader scale. Imagine the eventual transition of these policies into other industries such as banking and food-service.

I work at a machine shop, been here over 5 years and early this year we had to fill out DHS paperwork to prove we are who we say we are.
We do some government aerospace work, so every employee that hired in already had to submit to a background check. I guess those weren't good enough for the gestapo.

It also said there were "several LARGE projects" upcoming for their union - more fusion centers? FEMA camps? Anything but factories where we can make things and hire people.
I can see this creeping into the private sector soon - first it will be drivers, then financial sector workers down the line until you need a DHS "Terrorist Free" card just to work the Mickey D's drive through.

Whatever happened to that can't buy a gun rule if your on the terror watchlist? Did that become law or were they just threatening?

The public has been far too kind and forgiving towards these control freaks.

i guess the scenario will go something like this

to become employed you must first be come unemployed ,
meaning that you must go and enlist in the un employment office,'
after a screening and "usefull" courses in how to get a job
they will give one to you thats pre determined based on
your medical /if criminal records ,sector/residency and schooling background.

but whats mind boggling is that u.s is 1/4 if not 1/3 un employed , so now them that get work will have to work twise as hard since there is a lack of workforce to keep up infrastructure

but at the same time , the "selcted rich" get richer and the "poor" stay poor

I was told that pointing things like this out is America hate..
