Remarkable thing about Coup d'etat is that no citizens will ever know it happened.

Most of the public wouldn't care and would go back to watching Dancing With the Stars and eating their junk food.

ATS on the other hand would have multiple threads each with over 100 pages of comments about 2012, Niburu, Shapeshifting Reptoids, Illuminati bloodlines, and people going back forth over whether its an NWO holographic plot or real aliens showing up.

S & F.
I think this is an important thread and I don't think many people have thought about this slow, sly aspect of a takeover. However, it has been foretold that this is the way it will come about. People will be eating and drinking, life goes on as usual, people getting married, starting families, same-old same-old and they will not even know or recognize that a change has taken place right under their noses. Not until all of a sudden "the flood" carries them away.

No, there is no natural flood disaster coming. The "flood" is a metaphor for a sudden realization that it has happened and it's too late to move out of the way or change the course---fishes are caught in the net.

The shadow controllers are members in a vast network of organizations and secret societies. At every level someone owes someone a favor or someone is being blackmailed. Perhaps the bad guys outnumber the good guys by now.

I think we should explore how coups take place; their little-by-little progress; how to recognize signs that it is/has taken place. Otherwise, we won't know until the aftermath if we cannot expose it as it happens and get people to question and see.

one thing i just realized i forgot to add is that NOT all COUPE D"ETAT is bad...

sometimes, government is so bat sh.t crazy that the citizenship or a military leader must over through the corrupt virulent government.... This can be open display of a coup and can be a good thing...

What I am talking about is a secret, silent coup d'etat!, likes of which President Kennedy was talking about. A slow take over/corruption of the fabric of our social and politcial insitituions, such as military, government, media, education... etc silently by a secretive organizations which uses bribes and intimidations rather than an open take over of a government....

About Kennedy and his famous speech. Here is the full script. Read it. Look at the date. This speech was made a few days after the Bay of Pigs invasion. Find here basic consensual information on it.

After the failed invasion, the American press very heavily criticized the governement and the CIA. In front of a press syndicate, Kennedy gives this speech. In paragraph I, he starts explaining how he despises "secrecy' in a free society and how freedom of information is one of the foundations of our societies. Then he goes on and asks the press to show responsability and to stop informing the public in the name of higher means. Because it threatens national security and strenghtens the socialist revolution ideals and the USSR.

Read the speech again in the light of the context (remember the date) and form your own opinion.
But one thing is for sure, the quotes taken from this speech, the meaning attached to it that circulates on thousand of videos and articles in the internet are a perpetuated and copied myth.

On Reagan's speech, it's unusual, that's right. Now how to interpret his words ? It could be a simple goodwill speech using a strong and impressive metaphor. With the words only, how can we find more into it ?

Back on topic, I agree with you saabacura that we may not know of a successful coup d'état. Ideally, you want to seize power unopposed and if nobody or only a few know where the head is, nobody can cut it.
Out of curiosity, what is this country you are talking about in the OP ? Don't answer if my question is too intrusive

So the problem is not the ambiguous "the government" or "the elite" ....the problem is the corruption within the ranks. Perhaps it is those who have taken loyalty oaths to a "different type of governing system" which is ruled by the bribes and intimidations you describe.

That could very well be. It would be interesting to see how many departments are not really "owned" by the government and yet people think they are. I thought it very odd when DMV came up on my caller ID and it turned out to be the library! Go figure.

I think one clue may be in tracing the "privatized" corporations that were once understood to be government controlled.

Perhaps you should listen to the speech 3 more times. Do not put your own historical understandings and place it within your own CONTEXT at the year 2010....

President Kennedy said... "...................***************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...................................................

Actually NOW, I have read the written script on Kennedy's speech online and tried to compare to the verbal speech given live on Youtube.... There is something fishy going on.. They do not match at all!!!!!!!!! The verbal speech recorded online do not match the written speech that are found online... WTF is going on?

They perfectly match. The video is not the full speech but three or four parts of it.

As for my interpretation of this speech, it may not be consensual and possibly incorrect but pasting bits of this speech and introducing it as a speech on secret societies is absolutely incorrect. It's a fabrication and a myth that has been surviving for years. Believe it or not but people still post it even on ATS boards
