Good Gaga Maga!!! I am totally appalled that anyone would think this cartoon was nothing more than a "rub" on WWII Nazi's.

In fact, I watched this exact toon less than 48 hrs. ago and laughed at it like a kid again. Yes, kids, at least before everything became politically correct, had a natural instinct about what was REAL and what was not.

Walt Disney, Dr. Seuss, and their ilk had a special sense of humour. They created not only for children, but also played on the adult humour of the times. Today, most adults have become so up tight and fearful, they have just forgotten how to laugh. They look for the worst in everything!! If something is even a smidgen outside the lines, they scream bloody murder...and expect the world to mold it's self to them and their majority...

It all started with what is or isn't Politically correct and will end with the totally dumbed down world the government is aiming for with no one even remembering that to laugh is a great stress reliever and the world would be better for it in the long run.

Since we're on the topic of Disney characters being tweaked, here's an interesting comic with Mickey pushing a wonder product called "Peppo" in Africa! Oh yes... ooohh my yeeees. So delightfully terrible.

Comon.. What a Nazi is viewed as now, is not what a Nazi was viewed as during/before WW2.

Besides they were just making a quick buck, aka bottem line.
What do you mean? Are you saying Nazi's are villified now, but back when this Donald cartoon was made, they were thought well of?

I thought Nazis were hated always.

You know thinking that Nazi's were hated always doesn't really mean they were.
They had an .. 'Empire'?
Well they were a country, with support.
I know of one country that supported Nazi-Germany.
Soviet Russia.

"what we bring to the world is order"
The lyrics of the opening song in the OP

"You're free. And freedom is beautiful. And, you know, it'll take time to restore chaos and order - order out of chaos. But we will."
George W. Bush
American 43rd US president since 2001. b.1946

Considering the Bush crime family's history of supporting the nazis
this cartooon is scarier then it looks on first blush.

star and flag HBT

PS until the public relations people got in on it there was a lot of support for germany in the states.
this hated always bit is just not true. this one of the reasons the US was so late to enter the war
