....Heemeyer’s rampage, as press and news media have widely reported, was precipitated by a four year losing battle with the town council of Granby, who, despite widespread opposition from residents, altered town zoning codes and ordinances, to allow Mountain Park Concrete to build and operate a cement batch plant next to Heemeyer’s muffler shop, a move which forced Heemeyer out of business due to the dust and pollution of the plant....

I think the American (?) interviewer was trying to get a 'cheap' laugh !! Like BRL said in his post, I would have laughed my socks off if the Oirsh guy had given the interviewer a proper 'welcome' for his comment.....

The sad thing is that the Oirish guy was actually 'annoyed', as many are yet the Interviewer was such a junvenile trying to score a quick laugh............ POOR Interviewer in my opinion..

That Old Irishman reminds me of some old banker friends I have, I didnt think the Irish guy was to happy with the kid by the end. The kid seemed to mock the guy, but then again he could have been trying to hold back huge amounts of laughter from this guys Nobel Prize winning Rant.

I don't think it is that people are too polite. I think it is because everyone is so afraid of what will happen to them and their families if they do speak out. Our government in America is no longer afraid of it's people. We, the people are afraid of our government and they could care less whether we are starving to death or dying. I have to say that if more of us spoke out like this guy, then more people would jump on the bandwagon and band together. It is so hard to get people to realize what is going on now. So many people are so worried about getting what so and so has that they think they "need", that most of them think you are nuts if you start telling them about the conspiracies and theories about it all. You can show most of them the proof right in front of their faces and they would still deny it or not belive it. We have to do something, otherwise we are just as guilty for all of this happening just as much as they ones who are doing it to us. We let the government take away our rights and for what?? Because some softees saying we are being too harsh. Well that is part of it. Honestly, I no longer believe anything our government says anymore. Why believe them when everything that spews from their mouths are nothing but bu!!**** to keep the majority happy? More people need to know about ATS, so we can get to the blind ones who are just going about their lives, blind and in denial of it all. Sorry this rant was so long. I am just frustrated by alot of this that has and is going on.

You either need to watch the video again or educate yourself on the facts, that is not what the reporter is saying!
