Do you notice synchronicity in people's conversations?

Have you ever, or do you regularly, experience times where the very thoughts that you were thinking, the slightest sense of uneasiness or anxiety is somehow "known" to everyone? Do you find that what people are saying around you seem to tie in to what you are thinking, as if they had some kind of secret information or knew something that you didn't? Are you noticing that there is something "more" that is being said in mainstream radio and television, like a kind of secret code? Does the symbol "X" or "crossing" mean anything to you in regards to this? Have you noticed strange people on the television, walking down the streets, a sudden change in culture. Have you noticed people are talking differently today, in higher pitched voices, faster, without a sense of normal emotion?

There is something big going on, something very big.

Me and my friends have been doing this a year now..
We are freaking out, and it happens everytime we are together.
We take our words of each others mouths. Its now not that rare anymore, and we are just laughing now.

But its not only my friends. I'm glad to see that we aren't the only ones.

I don't know if this is what you mean, but the day before yesterday when i was coming home from work i saw an EXTREMELY fat man walking down the street with nothing on but a large diaper. Not even shoes, and it was one of the coldest days of the year.

How about this?
You are talking on the phone, and reading (oh, probably the computer screen) at the same time, if not just a glance at the screen - and your caller will say a word that you read on the screen at the same time - the same word - and not words like "and" or "it" or similar - I'm talking someone's name, or a word not used in every day conversation..
Or, listening to music or the radio while in the car, and you see, say, a billboard: and you read a word on the billboard at the exact time the word is said in a song, or in a radio ad?

Has been on the increase hugely, exponentially?
Anyone know what I'm saying?

on a constant basis, i happen to have aspergers (social ineptitude="poopy" much more focus on higher brain functions) i believe its because surface thoughts can be expressed through that individuals current vibration. personally i think if someone isnt more used to this thing happening, it happens with close friends, people that you know well, you seem linked. i know there are a few people that know that feeling. its all subconscious, but there will never be a published story on it. =P always a good observation

On a personal level synchronicity increased in my life back in the late 90's ... then it seemed to slow up a little ... but the last couple of years it has definately been on the increase again ... and I agree that it feels like things are speeding up towards (?)

Good to hear about others noticing the (not so) subtle changes that are taking place

I love synchronicity. It happens all the time. I'm not sure if it comes out of the fact that basically people are more alike than they are different and we are being subjected to the same cultural influences. Or that we are just tuned in. Maybe its confirmation of Karl Jung's theory of universal consciousness. Telepathy is an inate human ability - its part of our survival mechanism.

It really doesn't matter to me. I just enjoy it. I took the word coincidence out of my vocabulary years ago - life is much more fun without it.

I was just talking about something like this the other day with a friend.

Me and that friend and another were hanging out one night two winters ago, getting drunk, smoking, and playing music.

I forget what else it was that I got on tape, but I know it was something hilarious, and my buddy nic said something and then cackled in his unique way..

We reviewed the footage that night, and as it came to the funny part, nic (as he was watching) unknowingly responded with the exact same wording, timing, and cackle, saying/doing it exactly in sync with the 'nic' playing on the tv.

He'd then say "rewind that, I need to see it again!", or something along those lines, and then do the same thing over again.

Remember we're all under the influence, so everything was very funny to us, and this circumstance seemed extremely significant to me at the time, as I'd noticed him mirroring himself from the start, and was amazed that he did it flawlessly at least a dozen times, and it took him at least half that many more to understand it when I explained it to him...

Not sure if that makes any sense or not, but here's another video of him in that house, only this time it's summer and about 6am...

Perhaps all the finer social gestures all combine together for most people, so that they are all "interwoven" in everything. Perhaps at different levels, we can sort of "rise above" certain areas. For example, perhaps the regular people are in specific vibrations, and they live in a more complex world of "social interaction" - basically they are more finely tuned to knowing what everyone thinks and feels. Perhaps asides from "them" - we as individuals are separate from their kind of "group mind" - and often it only occurs at very specific points (thus the synchronicity) that we sort of "interweave" ourselves in their reality. However, since this has only occured recently, perhaps it is the result of a more artificial system of control, perhaps a kind of thought matrix.

I've had this happen a lot over the past year, i'll be thinking about something and someone will come up to me and start saying it. I'm sure i've been doing it to other people too. Quite strange, i thought it was just me or my age.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's just contrails....um....I mean balloons.....err.....I meant chinese lanterns...umm....I really meant it 's just 47 coincidences all strung together.....no wait, it's really just a lens flare.....

No, you are not alone here. My family is doing this, saying the same thing at the same time, one thinks of picking up something, another picks it up for him, knowing when someone will call, or knock on the door. The synchronicities are rampant and we are loving it!

i know exactly what you are talking about, but it is a little different for me. usually when it happens i will have a song stuck in my head and someone will sing it. pretty weird, because i listen to different stuff then most people in their early twenties.

Absolutely! I have noticed this phenomenon for years now but it became particularily obvious during conversations with a dear friend where it seems what ever topic we touch on someone (not always the saem person) in a live chat seems to start a topic or mention this exact thing as we are discussing it. We've both commented on this since we are members of the same chat and often talk on the phone whilst in chat. It is kinda eerie and sometimes makes me feel like someone is listening in on our conversations but who knows.

Whoa!! I was just thinking of a tree!

More like a juniper bush actually but still....
