Wikileaks: target of massive disinformation tactics

Here's to break down to you some false and misleading arguments employed by ATS users and on posters on other forums as well about the Wikileaks and Julien Assange major controversy, which could turn out to be disinfo tactics used by paid CIA/NSA/MOSSAD ops who use their ATS membership to spread propaganda...

I'd just like to add that most of the claims here not backed by links can be easily found over the web with a simple ixquick or Scroogle search.

- Julian Assange is NOT a criminal. Unless you have some very specific proof that revealing these cables to the public is a crime, Wikileaks is only revealing classified documents that are labeled as "secret" or classified WITHIN their source organizations. So the if individuals working for the Army or embassies decide ON THEIR OWN to reveal these infos, Wikileaks or Assange simply CANNOT be held accountable.

There is a major difference between internal organizational rules and public domain Law, and the freedom of press and expression is above considerations of "criminal" activity, unless, of course, there is evidence that it endangers the lives or freedoms of innocent people. So whistle-blowing is not a crime, it's a RIGHT, a necessity for justice to prevail in global politics.

The people who fight or condemn whistle-blowers are de facto complicit in these criminal or illicit activity disclosed by them, since they, instead of letting the truth be told and discussed, take the defense of the wrongdoers, attacking the messenger instead of looking at the facts.

- Wikileaks is NOT endangering the lives of people, not even Us troops or personnel. Julian Assange, back in early summer 2010, made a public pledge in an interview that in order to protect the lives and freedom of the people involved in the leaks, he would blank out their names. He more precisely said that he would blank out the names of all the innocent people, which means that they might not restraint themselves from reveling the names of US officials or troops whose conduct makes them guilty of crimes.

So if you look at any of the cables released, all the names of soldiers and US officials -including diplomats- WERE X'ed. (like "XXXXXXX"). Only the names of widely known politicians and State leaders appear, as necessary reference so that the cables are understandable. I dare any of you here HOW this contributes to endangering the lives of US citizens abroad.

- Julian Assange and Wikileaks is most likely NOT a CIA/MOSSAD psyop,as opposed to what some posters here and elsewhere would like us to believe.

Although this idea is harder to prove since most people don't really know who Assange and his collaborators are, what is their agenda and if they have ties -or not- to intel agencies; given the ongoing attempts at shutting down Wikileaks activities and the recent Interpol warrant and arrest or Assange, to claim that the secret service would make their own agents being hunted and framed by the same authorities they serve is preposterous. This includes the all-out condemnation and accusations made by the US government towards Wikileaks, as well as its recent forbidding of any government employees to "interact" with Wikileaks documents. This is simply nonsense to believe that CIA or MOSSAD would greenlight the disclosure of such scandalous infos as contained in the cables while at the same time doing everything they can to censor it.

Moreover, and that further supports the case against Wikileaks being tied to MOSSAD and the CIA, the one responsible for Assange's arrest under claims of "rape", has been found to be a CIA shill, leading anti-communist and anti-Castro group in Sweden, connected to a CIA collaborator. She appearantly manged to trick Assange into a sex scandal, by having an affair with him, while showing herself on Swedish websites and media to be a "leftist" supporter of Wikileaks and Assange. Since anti-Castrists make very bad leftists, and Hardin's rape accusations are very dubious, the whole thing looks like a CIA operation to take down Assange in a safe way... to prosecute him by destroying his image, thus avoiding him becoming a martyr.

And on a minor note, there's that zionist "hacker", The Jester, who claimed to be the one responsible for taking most of Wikileaks sites from the web since late November, using his very "brillant and awesome" talents (he seems to like indulging himself for his exploits) to take down a so-called criminal behavior that endangers the lives of "our troops". This Jester is presumed to have been taken down many Afghan Islamic websites and on-line resources in his fight against "jihads". Assuming this "patriot hacker" is for real and not just some lame dork willing to gain fame, he's obviously, as shown in his diatribe, a defender of Law and Order and up against the enemies of Israel and America, and his attacks against Wikileaks only gives further evidence that they are not CIA or MOSSAD covert ops. But the Jester could be, on the other hand. And that wouldn't make him less of a dork as well...

And as usual a bunch of contradictory smear attacks that don't make any sense. The CIA/Mossad one is an interesting one though. That would mean Israel may be backstabbing some "friends" he he! Does that mean we shall see the end of their undying support?

As good as any theory..

There's another thread pushing the Soros/CIA agenda with nothing but blogs..
Supposidly Julian was blackmailed into service back in the 90's to avoid jail over hacking into the US military..

Funny thing is, he was NEVER charged with that offence..
There was a book later that many claim is about Julian's hacking.
In the book they claim to have hacked into military sites etc..
That's the ONLY mention of US military sites...

I might also add, If Julian/Wiki have been under CIA control since the 90's then why at times was their site down due to lack of funding???
Surely the CIA has enough money..
