Scary Places and Mysterious Disappearances Info

I'm looking for a list of scary places. By ''scary'' I mean anything which comes to your mind really, and it doesn't matter where the place actually is.

The less in the public eye this location is, however - the better.

Also, if you know anything about mysterious disappearances/appearances, that would be great.

Bachelor's Grove in Midlothian, just outside of Chicago. Many have "claimed" it's the most haunted cemetery in the US (I beg to differ) I have been to other cemeteries with more strange activity (can't say it is truly super natural though). But Bachelor's Grove does look creepy at night (it's illegal to enter after sunset since it is on Federal Forest property, it's in the middle of the Rubio Woods Forrest Preserve). It has been abandoned for some time now, some grave stones are from the 18 hundreds.

This is a breaking news story about the very strange disappearance of a wife and mother from a car crash that killed her husband. The more I read on, the more odd it seemed. The couple left a holiday party, arm-in-arm after "cutting a rug" together. The husband was sober, and he was driving the car at the time of the crash that killed him. The missing wife hasn't contacted any family members, nor has she shown up in any area hospitals. The only sign of her are footprints in the snow that lead to a road and end there.
