People whom became civilized and traditionally cut their hair to adopt to their Roman neighbor's traditions? England is one of the most multicultural society's on Earth, with an Indian number system, a Latin Alphabet, a Germanic Language, and Roman traditional cultural influences. One of which, shave your hair.

Hmmm, Hair with neuro-ending connectors, where have I seen that before? Oh, yes! Maybe they were watching the movie "Avatar" before emailing that message out.
You know the movie Avatar basically got most its ideas from human tribes, right?
Maybe James Cameron read the email and stole the idea.
I know several Africans(Jamaicans) with dreadlocks who believe them to hold some sort of extra-sensory 'mapping' power. This sort of thinking is not unusual. It's been around since the dawn of time. Long before Avatar plagiarised other peoples cultures.

Yes, I immediately thought about Buddhist monks, Gurus and Rinpoches who shave off their hair (the latter are not impedimented by the lack of hair). And at the same time I remembered many of the meditating yogis and yoginis I have seen and read about who do not cut their hair. A very interesting topic and I have yet to read something similar.

I, personally, would like to know more about the scientific validity of the following:
"Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly evolved 'feelers' or 'antennae' that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex." I am not too sure of the relation / interaction between hair and the mammalian neocortex for example (if anyone has further info on this...)

In the renaissance, Long hair was a sign of Wisdom and age. Duh. Times change. You should know that. Back it up? Google is your friend. The most proof you have for your statement is belief. Don't tell my cows to be silent while yours moo all day long.
Hair is what hair has always been. Mosquito protection, warmth, and extra sensitivity for annoyances.
Now, lets just put the nail in your coffin and show you shaven men being the best hunters in the world
Now stop being a silly boy.

That's great.
Meanwhile, only one medal of Honor recepiant had any serious facial hair.

Now if you want to keep your exclusive study only on Native Americans that's great. Real science, however, is an inclusive study, not an exclusive study. Stop focusing on one group of people. For all you know, it's mentality. After all, many cultures where hair is important feel depressed and destroyed after it is cut. That is pure mentality, and a self inflicted lie. Of which, humans such as yourself are experts in putting on themselves.
