Well i think u answer the question,they shaved the heads in the army because they can control the batallions,and just program them better to follow orders, im not sure if this also contributes to have short term memory.

Yea, wrong again. Roman soldiers were the educated population. They were the ones whom fought for reasons.

Roman soldiers were educated volunteers whom served for a decade with the promise of land and money as a reward. They almost always got their reward and were loyal to the end. They are noted for being fearless in battle. Their brotherhood and communal strength was some of the strongest ever. And, they were strong believers of the individual.Individuality was what allowed Rome to flourish under the republic, and continue to have freedom under dictatorship.

Sorry, but you should probably review your history. Rome is one of the few empires on Earth where the leaders did what the people wanted because they were legitimately afraid of what would happen if they did not.

Yes, I immediately thought about Buddhist monks, Gurus and Rinpoches who shave off their hair (the latter are not impedimented by the lack of hair). But unless we are at a point where we are suficiently purified and energised or genetically set to be sensitive in the spiritual way, we are not going to have any real gnosis of this.

So there is no saying you MUST have long hair or shaved hair to become enlightened just like there is no saying you MUST be a vegetarian to become enlightened. There is only the goal of purification and gathering and moving energy and recapitulating our own experiences to help us get our halo or enlightenment.

Curiously though stem cells derived from hair follicles are found to be effective in growing nerve cells in sciatic injury and so on.

For all you know, it's mentality. After all, many cultures where hair is important feel depressed and destroyed after it is cut. That is pure mentality, and a self inflicted lie. Of which, humans such as yourself are experts in putting on themselves.

I'm probably not on your side on this subject for the most part, but to kinda help support your point a bit... Native Americans have the least amount of total body hair of probably any other ethnic group in the world. Facial hair may contribute, but I doubt as much as the hair hanging from your head.

However, I do gotta hit another side and continue with this point... IF Native Americans have so little body hair, then that would leave it up to MAINLY the scalp hair to be sensitive. A Native American tracker who relies on his hair would "lose" MUCH more "power" by cutting his hair off than, say... about any person of European descent.

No, I have to say that humans are experts of adapting. This is why we conquered everything. If you loss your hair I would highly doubt that would affect you that much. Just about the only type of person who might be affected are the blind who hear through feeling. That's about it. Everyone else is not.

Mind you, you lose your hair on a daily basis. It simply is replaced. I fail to see how this point can stand up. Nerve "memory" cannot be replaced once the memory device is gone. If every hair learns this super special ability, than it happens within a day. IE, my stubble could be as powerful as an old bearded man.

I'm part Cherokee and a crap ton of everything. You could easily say I am everything except part Asian. And I have no care for culture to tell you the truth. This silly "bah bah wha wha, white man hurt me" bullcrap really is old. If you want your long hair enjoy it. I am a very stoic Christian and see hair as an annoyance to doing my work. If you wan to fight for "the republic" than you confine the the rules of it. If you'd like to fight alone, be a vigilantee. I could care less.

I am a proud person from many cultures. And you know what I see from them? All failures. I make my own future and define myself. I don't need the history of a dead people to define me. Forgive me for saying so, but if you need the culture of a dead people to define you, it's pretty sad. enjoy the knowledge of your ancestors, but they're dead. Make your own future and stop worshiping the long gone.

On the positive side, in the movie 'The men who stare at goats' the squad of new earth warriors had to grow their hair and beards. Also when working as a bouncer I felt a lot more comfortable in the role when I did have a beard, never had long hair in this role as anyone how grabs a good hold of it owns ya.

On the negative side it gets too dame hot in Australia to have long hair and feels like the brain is overheating. In cooler climates though it would help insulate the brain to run at a better operating temperature and therefore more efficiently. Had long hair at one stage but got feed up with the amount of maintenance it takes to look after it.

Has got me thinking about growing it a bit longer though.

Interesting. I had through my teens and twenties had hair past the middle of my back. I finally cut it due to a job offer. I can say that I too experienced an immediate disconnection. I was truly sad. But I discredited my feelings as silly. But now maybe not. If I cut my finger off I would cry about that too. Thanks for your post.

The thing is, before the first pic, when I was at a low, I had long hair and beard and felt happy / at peace, and it wasn't hitting the low that made me lose it all, that came after the shears.

Odd isn't it.
