My wiener dog is pissing me off, what do?

Yeah , got this 5 year old Dachshund from my mother who got it from a divorced wife . I have zero clue how they trained her

The dog is perfect, but when I walk her , she sniffs on rocks, tree's , houses, plants, random animal scat , etc....

She does all this outside and craps on the floor ass soon as I bring her in

Maybe try keeping her outside in your backyard and only letting her in after she has done her business. I'm no dog whisperer but maybe that will help her get the message.

My brother and his wife trained there dogs to go on paper in their dog kennel box inside the house and would not go outside either.

what else can you do other than kick it.

Just leave the dog out longer until it can't hold its pooh anymore and continue to do this until it realizes the sooner it poohs the sooner it gets in.

It sounds to me she always crapped inside and never was taken out for a walk.

Does she eat food after you bring her in?

Do you leave her food bowl out all the time?

A dog moves its bowels after it eats.

It goes in one end and shortly after comes out the other end.

I live with 8 Chihuahuas and they will eat then go outside and crap.

Pick up her food bowl.

Feed her and then walk her she will probably do her business while outside.

I wish you luck!!!!!!!!!! My sis has 3 labs and a weiner and the weiner is by far the most difficult to train and no it would not use the puppy pads either.

She would just pick his little behind up every time he sat to do his business and bring him outside. It is now a year later and he will go to the door when he has to pee, but the other is still proving problematic.

Also, for this to work you have to be with you dog 24/7 so............. as I said good luck.

Do you scold the dog after he has 'been' in the house?

It was explained to me that the dog will think you are scolding him for 'going' rather than realise that you are scolding him for 'where' he went.

So he will hold it in all the time you are out and watching him and then as soon as you are inside and leave him on his own he will do it, hoping to avoid being told off since you didn't see him.

Don't know how much that will help but at least it might explain what the dog is thinking
