ego: the one of the three divisions of the psyche in psychoanalytic theory that serves as the organized conscious mediator between the person and
reality especially by functioning both in the perception of and adaptation to reality.
If we go with Einsteins definition of insanity, then reality can not exist. For only by repeating the same action over and over and expecting
different results are we insane. For it would be the perception of reality that would create the need to "define" reality through knowledge,
thereby pleasing the ego, continually coming up with nothing more real than before?
