Naples, FL Fire Chief Watched Lights of Unknown Origin-Sept 14, 10: (Case review by Linda Howe)

I have searched but didn't find anything out about this specific event. HOWEVER< if this was already posted by another title or heading, sorry.
This whole event was reviewed by Linda Moulton Howe. I only heard about her recently but she sure is impressive-from what I have seen so far. So, without further ado, Look this one over and the case she presents. Pretty good. Also, looking over UFO histort for that area, which you will see if you go to Part 1 of her report.

Part 2: Naples, Florida Fire Chief Watched Lights of Unknown Origin- Interview with Naples Fire Chief

At 8:30 PM Eastern, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, Steve McInerny, who is the Naples Fire Chief, says the Police and Fire-Rescue Communications Center in Naples began to receive the first of many 911 callers who were reporting “strange, orange lights being shot up from the surface of the ocean into the sky” and “flashing on and off.” At first, callers believed a boat was in distress and that the orange lights were distress flares.

And then as I walked closer, I could see – I guess the easiest description is it looked like the size of a Ferris wheel (average diameter 350 to 540 feet). When I observed it, it was seven lights more or less in a circular formation, but it would change from a circular to more of an octagon shape. But it kept moving in shape. It would stay in the same location, but just change shape. And all the lights were more or less symmetrical. One wasn’t brighter than the other. There was no smoke being given off. They were just kind of an eerie, orange glow

Part 3: Naples, Florida Police Officer Watched Large, Oval Light Through Telescope

On November 9, 2010, at around 4 AM Eastern, Naples police officer John DiDonato watched a large, bright light over the Gulf of Mexico both with his eyes and through the 911 caller's telescope in the 5th floor condominium high-rise. The above sketch illustrates the glowing aerial object had a horizontal oval shape of generally white light that on the inside had pulsating blue, red, yellow and green lights. Periodically, the red light on the base would flash.

What can I tell you? She put up some good investigative stuff here and followed up with additional sightings or related in some way. I really enjoyed this article series. I think I can like her. Thoughts about her work?

Anyone from the area that can expand on this. I tend to think it is something Military, being in such a populated area over and over? One thing for sure is that a lot of unexplain UFO things happening in the FL area.

I hate it when there isn't a catchy title.

I have seen here once or twice on UFO/Alien shows on History Ch but I never really listened to her.

Actually she is on coast 2 coast all the time. A regular guest for most part. I have always enjoyed listening to her. She also did a lot of work with cattle mutilations and has traveled to England for Crop circle work and has interviewed many many interesting characters. She certainly doesn't bs around so you can probably take this story pretty seriously for most part if that helps.

Just adding good job on the post and also I bet if you go to the coast2coast website you can probably find old shows she was on in the archives. She was just on a couple weeks ago

I just checked up on her. She has had one hell of a career. And, she had a pretty good life before she got invovled with UFO/Aliens etc. (she was even Miss Idaho in 1963):

Now, after seeing her works and other things, I guess she has been in a lot of things I have seen, read or heard but I didn't realize who she was or what she was all about. I am sure glad I found out about her.

I was just looking over the first picture/drawing. Look at it.

From the point of obersavation-or soon after. Same for the Police officers also. Very detailed and FRESH.

Now, not saying these are UFO/Alien craft but definitely Unexplainable. Could it be some man-made thing? yes. but, if you check out the other stuff that seems to have occurred this year in that area... Something is up regardless of it's origins.

Awww.. Im kind of sorry this thread didnt go anywhere while I was away. I thought you might get some more good input about her. I am glad you did some research on her, she is quite a extraordinary woman. It is kind of funny how she sounds rather old on the radio, yet, when you see her in tv shows or what have you she still looks relatively young.

I think the fact that she has always tried to be as on point as possible give her a lot of credibility considering the fields she explores and dabbles in. Yes she does ask for a small price on her website to delve deeper, but after all we all need to make a dollar and she does travel far and wide in her searches. You can't point a finger at her for that.

I guess this site tends to enjoy tearing people apart more then giving credit where it is due sadly. Hard to form conspiracy thoughts when something might actually hold its weight if you know what I mean.

Like I said, keep a eye on the coast to coast radio show, she will pop up very soon Im sure. I listen all the time, if I catch wind of when she is on next I will shoot you a u2u.

Nicely documented sighting. Howe is a pretty credible investigator IMHO (point it out if I'm wrong on this one). I seen her on UFO Files re cattle mutilations

After viewing the videos I'm thinking flares ( they look like them but don't really move light them except for one at the beginning you see it fall and then fade out like a flare would)

I tend to agree with you except that stuff similar to this have been occurring there for some time-according to her Part 1 part.

But, that could easily be turned around to the other side of yes, its a HUMAN event such as testing, flights, secret tech etc.

I didn't see any mention of the Air Force coming or even being called. Anytime I see these reports and the UFO's have been there a long time. Most likely they (the Gov't )already know about it or what it is).
