For me, it all goes back to the Ten Commandments, which God gave us to follow and which then man wrote down.
An important point to add, and if you know the 4 Gospels pretty well, is that Jesus in regards to the laws, really only addresses the 10 commandments in his teachings. So what about all the other laws?
- JC
10This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
(Genesis 17:10-14)
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
(Luke 2:21)
But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter.
(Galatians 2:7)

I am not spouting off nonsense numbers. Christianity only counts as the number one religion if you combine Protestants and Catholic into one group. Last time I checked Protestants said they were the real Christians and Catholics said they were the real Christians, and each counts the other as heretics.

And this still doesn't account for the masses of Christians in prison for crimes against their fellow man, nor the masses of Christians murdering in the after forces.

adjensen, I have stuck to all of your points and addressed it all.
You will not answer me in a logical or rational fashion, instead you keep giving me YOUR understanding of Christianity.

Also, Jesus observed the Passover. So we have 2 obvious Mosaic Laws Jesus lived by. He did not come to destroy the law, he came to fulfill. Don't destroy the law by neglecting it.
