Microsoft Addresses Download.Ject Attack

Microsoft released a "configuration change" for Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 that improves system resiliency against the Download.Ject electronic attack, which was causing panic attacks among security consultants and IT administrators last week. The configuration changes will be posted to Windows Update later today, and will ship through Automatic Updates, but are available for direct download from the Microsoft Web site now.

It's about time! Now all I have to do is worry about the next version of this type of virus.

I did find a perfect solution for my https browsing though, Firefox, it works great so far.
