Hello, I have been following ATS for a while now and have finally decided to get my feet wet. I had been following up on some threads regarding the supposed missle sighting recently and all of the debunking and what not, when it occured to me of a similar episode off the coast of Canada in January that the TPTB never really gave an official explanation of, as far as I can recall . I also don't recall having seen it here on ATS, I apologize if I have missed it. Anyways, I thought it might interest some of you, and may go toward lending some credence to unexplained military activity and their respective cover ups. In any event, glad to be here and I hope I can attach the news link properly to get the news out....so to speak. Maybe somebody here may have an explanation or can tie it in to things they have discovered. CBC News

Welcome

I like the comments on that news article you put up from CBC. It sounds exactly like an ATS discussion lol. I haven't read about this yet or even heard of it. Contrail? I dunno...

I know, it all seems very strange. It does state in the article that local authorities were given some sort of explanation that allowed them to close the case for them, but that any other inquiries would need to be directed elsewhere......sounds like they wanted to wash their hands of it fairly quickly. Then, when inquiries were submitted, people were bounced around from person to person......my guess is hoping that people would drop it and the truth would not come out....which, again as far as I know, is exactly what happened!!!
