My avatar changes with my mood and interests (or sometimes the holiday).

At the time this was posted, it is an astronaut floating in space, holding up a FOR SALE sign. This reflects my current disgust at the state of our space-faring efforts. We should have had a base on the moon by now, and manned missions to Mars, etc. We landed on the moon DECADES ago people!

With the retirement of the Shuttle fleet, I just really have to wonder why we, the space leaders, will be hitching rides on older, less-safe, and often tech-inferior Russian space vehicles.

My hopes now lie only with the private sector, and their race for space. Will be some time still though, but I think we'll see a real private space effort in my lifetime.

My Avatar represents what two species can accomplish together. It is my belief that canines and humans are the greatest team in the history of Earth. I think we got the better end of the deal because they give us so much more than we give them. And while I may not always love humans, I will always love canines.
