Looking for realistic, downloadable space colony simulator

hey guys,
I figured that some of you might have an idea of where I should go to get the following:

A while back I heard that there was a website that provided a realistic, downloadable space colony simulator. I believe that the service was provided by a university or private person, but, since I read this in a rush, I don't recall any more details than that. So, have any of you guys heard about something like that?

Also... I'm looking for space colony simulators in general. I would appreciate it if someone could recommend such a simulator. I'm looking for something that is realistic and believable (no cartoonish, child-like elements)... but I also wouldn't mind a task oriented simulator that's more like a 'game' and includes scifi things like buried alien artifacts and the like.

I downloaded the Moon Tycoon simulator and it seems interesting, but it doesn't let you play long enough to see if you really want to buy the game.

DeadLock 1 and 2 are the best colony sims ever IMHO. They should only be 10-20 bucks if you can still find them. Its a colony builder/stratagy game that you constantly upgrade and fight other colonies.
