On 18 July 2007, Nelson Mandela, Graça Machel, and Desmond Tutu convened a group of world leaders in Johannesburg to contribute their wisdom and independent leadership to address the world's toughest problems. Nelson Mandela announced the formation of this new group, The Elders, in a speech he delivered on the occasion of his 89th birthday.

Again, Nelson Mandela is not dead.

It is understandable if you are mistaken. But if you stubbornly refuse to accept that you are mistaken, then this is the sign of a divergence... either in your honesty within these posts, or in your ability to separate reality from delusion.

If the latter is applicable I would impel you to seek help.

Weird, I thought he was dead too. This may explain the confusion...

LINK

Is Nelson Mandela still alive? As at the time of writing this, yes he is. Did Nelson Mandela die? No he did not. The Nelson Mandela death that was reported on CNN news in 2003 was very much incorrect.

Nelson Mandela turned 91 on July 18 2009. He is not a young man any more and was unable to attend his birthday concert in New York. Mandiba (Mandela) did receive treatment for prostate cancer in 2001 but he recovered well from that.

Rumors were spread about a Nelson Mandela death then, and they have spread since. Mandela retired from public life when he was 85, and has made less and less appearances.

Question is: How the heck could CNN make such a HUGE mistake about the existance of someone so world reknowned? This is totally weird!!!
