If Hollywood ever needs somewhere to start World War Three, Yeonpyeong would be a good choice. North Korea is in plain view, about as far away as Portsmouth is from Ryde. This link is from Telegraph UK. They usually do not sound so doomish. This might be it with all the talk between China, Japan NK and SK about the current situation. Not to leave out the disposition of the South Koreans, either. They want revenge on being attacked.

I think 50+ years of this standoff is enough.
