Let's try this again

Hi ATS! I'm Karrie Reynolds and I live in Northeast Ohio. I am a UFO Hunter, contactee/abductee. I have been active in the UFO community for almost 4 years now. I film as often as I can and I keep my camcorder in my vehicle at all times. I skywatch in Mahoning and Trumbull county mostly. An online search will show this area is a UFO hotspot.

I just filmed this recently:
www.youtube.com...

I am aware of the disinfo agants and colorful characters that come out of the wood work when there a video made public like this. So far Ive had 2 people steal my video and had a few threaten to steal it. I don't know why.

So I hope you all enjoy my videos and I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi Karrie, nice clear vid, but I have a couple of questions:

Did you use a telephoto lens on your camera.
Was this telephoto the type with a mirror (easy to tell by looking down the barrel)

If so, you need to get it collimated.

Hi there

I did not add any modifications to my camcorder. It is a Sony DCR SR40 HDD Handycam. Whatever lens it comes standard with is what was being used.

Well Karrie, I've looked at Venus a gazillion times over the past 25 years & I can tell you that's exactly what this is.
I can also tell you from experience that whatever optics you have, they're seriously mis-aligned.
Sorry.

I see the planet Venus every night. This was Not the planet Venus. You can believe what you want about my video and my camcorder. I am very happy with them both. Thanks for your post.

Didn't mean to offend or disappoint, just commenting on what I see in the vid. I would be interested to see a vid from the same camera zoomed in on a distant street light to see if the same severe abberation occurs.
It's pretty typical of low end (non scientific) optics that they have tiny inaccuracies that create optical distortion which would be unacceptable to an astronomer for example. These small flaws are insignificant in normal use, but when a bright point source (such as a planet or star) is viewed at high magnification, any surface errors within the system become glaringly obvious.

Try my street light suggestion & post back.

EDIT: If I'm wrong, I will gladly eat my words & take a greater interest in your vids.

I understand the point you are trying to make. I have night shot videos already of lamposts, the moon, helicopters..ect you may refer to as evidence my camcorder lens and optics are in working order.

If I obliged every single request to film things to compare this object to, I would be wasting my time. This is due to the fact, once I have debunked other's theorys of what I could have filmed, it is notorious that these same people just think of something else for me to film as they come up with new theories. I am not here to meet expectations of anyone, no offense to you.

I have had people claim this was a blimp, yet these same people will not put their own time into investigating their claims, they want me to do all the grunt work. They make assumption comments with no evidence to back up their claims. So if they are not willing to do the work, thats their problem. I have a life too and I'm not out to bend over backwards for anyone who sits behind a computer judging videos without doing the research into claims. I'm not saying you are doing this, others on the main thread of this video are.

Please keep in mind anything filmed at night on my videos has the nightshot and infrared on. This was filmed during the day, so no nightvision was on. I encourage you to take a look at the traffic light at the end of my video, as it should serve as good evidence of lights being filmed during the day. There is no effect seen on the lights as is seen on the object I filmed.

Wow that's an interesting vid you have there Karrie from Northeast Ohio. Did you get this submitted to MUFON yet? Your video should remind us all that we have to keep our eyes on the skies and keep a camera in the car.* Thanks for posting.

*don't forget the fresh batteries and memory cards!

Hi Karrie,
I too, am from NEO. Lorain county to be exact..not really a UFO hotspot. On my initial diagnosis, i believe that what you have filmed, is some poor persons attempt at launching a giant O into the sky, for our beloved Buckeyes!! They just weren't able to get the red coloring it needed!!

Seriously..i have no idea what that is. Good vid and intriguing
